 Kingdom Hospital
Peter Rickman. The injuries that Peter Rickman received when he was hit are almost identical to the injuries that executive producer/writer, Stephen King received when he was in an accident.
Sally Druse. Sally Druse is played by Diane Ladd.
Mary. Mrs. Druse is trying to free nine year old Mary from the hospital.
Dr. Stegman. Dr. Stegman is played by Bruce Davidson.
Dr. Jesse James. He is played by Ed Begley, Jr.
Johnny B. Goode. He was played by Peter MacNeill, and later by Stephen King
Dave Hooman. Dave is played by Ryan Robbins, he was also in the miniseries, "Battlestar Galactica."
Dr. Hook. After seeing this, Dr. Hook tries to help Mrs. Druse stay in the hospital (after Dr. Stegman releases her) so she can find where the haunting is coming from.
Paul. Paul is Mary's evil nemesis.
Bryan Smith. He was found dead in his apartment years later from a drug overdose.
Stephen King. Stephen King created Kingdom Hospital based on the Danish mini-series "The Kingdom" or "Riget" in Danish, created by Lars Von Trier.
Mary Jenson. Mary Jenson was the litte ghost girl in the show that the psychic lady was looking to help.
Sally Druse. Eleanor "Sally" Druse was the "hypochondriac" psychic lady who was looking to find and help the ghost girl Mary. Sally Druse is of great annoyance to Dr. Stegman who is known to call her a "malingerer." He is basically sick of her wandering around the hospital looking for ghosts when he knows absolutly nothing is wrong with her.
Andrew McCarthy. Andrew McCarthy was also in movies like "Weekend at Bernie's" and "Pretty in Pink."

Judith. Chris Draper was created to represent the character of Judith who gave birth to the ghost child in the Danish series. This however, did not happen in the Stephen King's version. Brenda Abelson's character represents Rigmor and Sally Druse's character represents Sigrid. John was not a character in "Riget."

We are all brothers, we are all sisters. Mrs. Druse replied that that was very Christian. This was in the second episode.
Lyon and Mendelson. If you look at Lona's screen carefully when she discovers that Elmer is Sandman postive, it shows the full names of all three Sandman positive sleepers: Elmer Traff, Abel Lyon, and Christa Mendelson.

Tennis. The scene where Hook shows Chris his "graveyard," she sees that he had put a cross in her yard for the anesthesia mis-calculation she had made. She explained that she had been thinking about the tennis match she had later that day. This was in the fourth episode.

Stephen King. Johnny B. Goode finally shows up for work in the finale of the show played by Stephen King. Dr. Stegman was shocked!
