Tattsyrup. David's full name is Charles David Tattsyrup. David's Mother is Tubbs and his father is Edward. Tubbs and Edward are also brother and sister.
Judee. Iris, the woman who seemed to be just Judee's cleaner turned out to be her mother.
6. There are 18 episodes all together and one Christmas special. The episodes in the first and second series were made up of a series on sketches featuring different characters. The third series was made up of a main storyline with 1 or 2 sub-plots. Each episode in series 3 ended on the same day with the same accident.
Jeremy Dyson. There are actually four writers of 'The League of Gentlemen', Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gattis, Steve Pemberton and Jeremy Dyson. Jeremy is not an actor and does not appear at all in the series but is a very important part of the writing of 'The League of Gentlemen'.
Papa Lazerou. Keith is actually Papa Lazerou is disguise. Papa is working in the charity shop to find new wives to take home to the circus with him to make into animals. Yes, very strange.
Harvey is Benjamin's uncle. Benjamin is staying with his aunt and uncle for one night, but ends up staying there for about a month to live with the strange ways of the Denton Family, including 'Nude Day' and drinking your own 'Aqua Vita' every morning. Then there are Harvey's toads.
Chloe and Radcliffe. Chloe and Radcliffe are never seen apart and appear as if from nowhere when you least expect them. They also seem to know a lot about the world and usually find a way to outwit Benjamin.
48. When Pauline is confronted by Cathy Carter-Smith in series 2 Pauline asks, 'Just who do you think you're talking to?', Cathy replies 'Well according to my report a psychotic 50 year old lesbian.', 'How dare you, I'm 48' Pauline announces.
Herr Lipp. He's from Duisburg in Germany and likes young boys. He stayed in Royston Vasey once before with a couple, he has a towel of theirs, its blue. Herr Lipp stays with Bobbie and her son Justin, Lipp becomes obsessed with Justin and eventually buries him alive in his front garden; Herr Lipp is Played by Steve Pemberton.
Clitclink . Pauline Campbell-Jones is released from prison early because she agrees to spy on Mickey Michaels for Ross. Ross wants to find out if Mickey is illegally claiming benefits. Steve Pemberton plays Pauline in this episode entitled 'The Lesbian and the Monkey'.
Mickey. Mickey sees Pauline outside his house and insists that she stay with him in his dirty house. When she accepts, we aren't aware that she has struck a deal with Ross (played by Reece Shearsmith) to betray Mickey. Mark Gatiss plays the character of Mickey Michaels.
his arm. Lance (Paul Gatiss)is sick of being 'unidextrous' and therefore asks his friend at the hospital to fix it so he can have an arm again. His friend finds a discarded arm next to the incinerator but unfortunately for Lance, it's a woman's hand - complete with nail polish! This is from the second episode of the series entitled 'The One-Armed Man is King'
Lance. Lance's jokes often use illegal body parts stolen from the 'local' hospital, for example a real thumb in a matchbox.
Silver Audi TT. When Geoff's comedy act bombs, his friend offers him 50 pounds in order to collect a car which his friends claims is for his wife's birthday. Geoff is given instructions on where to park the car and only hears later that it was involved in a bombing. As a result, Geoff's photofit identity is plastered all over England. The role of Geoff is played by Reece Shearsmith. This is taken from the third episode of the series and is entitled 'Turn Again Geoff Tipps'.
Legz Akimbo. The travelling theatre group has travelled to Royston Vasey in previous episodes. This particular episode in series three shows the actors attempting to get into character by pretending they are disabled.
Windermere. Alvin comes home from a visit to the garden centre to find his wife and her friends dead after a 'party game' goes wrong. He and his mistress later bury the bodies in the back garden. Sunny and Alvin Steele are played by Gatiss and Shearsmith respectively. This is taken from the episode entitled 'The Medusa Touch'.
garden centre. Alvin is having a secret affair with a 'woman' who works at the garden centre.
medusa. The mysterious guest who likes to be known as 'Daddy' brings along this dangerous machine which kills everyone when he has a heart attack while operating it.
Charlie. Judee Levenson opens a massage parlour but is unable to give the massages herself so she employs Charlie Hull who gives massages to a cassette recording of Mrs Levenson's voice. Tony is a man who works at the Greedy Slit amusement arcade, Stella is Charlie's wife and Pauline is the ex-jobstart advisor. This episode is entitled 'Beauty and Beast'.
Italian. Tony takes Mrs. Levenson to Luigi's as he mistakenly believes she is the one responsible for the massage. Charlie arrives during the meal and confesses that he is responsible for the massages and a fight ensues in the gents' toilets. Shortly afterwards, Stella arrives and announces she's leaving Charlie and is moving abroad because she's won the jackpot.
Judee. This is mentioned twice in the episode 'Beauty and the Beast'.
The Charity Shop. Renie accidentally allows one of her precious carrier bags to blow out of an upstairs window. When Vinnie is later travelling home by scooter, she is distracted by the sight of the bag and falls off her scooter and is impaled on some old railings. Renie only knows of Vinnie's death when Vinnie's belongings are donated to the charity shop where they both worked. It is because of Vinnie's death that Renie takes on Keith.
