He wasn't completely over the death of his previous wife. Dave left for a few months to deal with his grief. Within these months, Tess didn't hear from him so when he finally returned, she wouldn't take him back. She married Nick Ryan in episode 100.
Marion. Claire found this quite amusing.

"Hopeless Case". The full lyrics for this bit are "I'm a hopeless case, and you're a reckless waste. I'm a hopeless case, kiss me now, kiss me now, what's your haste? 'Cause I'm a hopeless case."
"Did I Tell You?". "Did I Tell You?" Is one of my personal favourite songs from "Songs From The Series Volume 2." It was played in full in the episode where Claire and Alex finally get together.
"You. You want it all and you think that's okay but you don't wanna wait, it has to be today". "Understand Me" is the first track on Volume 1 of "Songs From The Series."
"Gentle, Gentle (Life Of Your Life)". This harmonious melody is the last track on Volume 2 of "Songs From The Series."
"Hey! Girl! (You Got A New Life)". Becky was played by Jessica Napier. She left in the third season to run another property with her boyfriend Jake (the character, not the actor, that is).
"The Stranger". Stevie is played by Simmone Jade Mackinnon.

Apricot chicken. Meg Fountain is notorious for her fabulous apricot chicken. At first she and Becky didn't get along, but one time she was invited to dinner and asked Meg whether she would be making apricot chicken. Meg first thought Becky was being rude and asked "Why?" Becky replied, "It's my favourite, that's all."

Jumping. She was training with Alex to compete in the Stockman's Challenge, but found she was afraid of jumping. Alex tried to get her to use his lucky socks, but that didn't work. Tess suggested it may have something to do with the fact that she would be competing against her ex, Peter, and suggested she destroy all remnants of him that she had. She burned all the photos she had and found she overcame her fear.
14. In the second season, Tess had some tourists staying at Drovers. The 15-year-old daughter in the family was found making out with shearer Marty, whom she told she was 18. She insisted it was not rape, and Meg suggested he took advantage of her because she's only 15 and doesn't know what she's doing. Becky responded with, "No, Meg, I was fourteen, and I knew exactly what I was doing."
South Australia. The scenes at Drovers Run are filmed at a property north of Gawler.
