In this episode, because their prom was so horrible, the group decides to crash Honey Grove's prom. The students we see during the dance are actual Honey Grove students, and are the contest winners of the "One Tree Hill In Your Town" contest.

"When the Stars Go Blue". This song was orignally recorded by Ryan Adams and has also been covered by such artists as Tim McGraw, The Corrs (with Bono of U2,) and Phil Lesh & Friends. On the sixth season of "American Idol", Blake Lewis also sang his version of the song, although it was credited to Tim McGraw.
"NOFX". We don't hear the song in this episode. Lucas quotes this song while he helps Peyton with her broken-down car, when Nathan won't come pick her up.
