Now, he must work as Satan's personal bounty hunter (or Reaper) to collect souls that escaped from hell. Sam was terrified to know that he had to work for the Devil; he even almost gave up at one moment because he felt that he was not the right person for the task. However, the Devil told him that if he did not want to work for him, then he would take away his mother's life.

So, he went to the concert with Sock and Ben. He released the cannibal to scare the musician. Of course, the musician was terrified and ran away. Sam felt great because besides sending a soul back to hell, he also saved another innocent man's soul.

The Devil. Steve and Tony knew Sam communicated with the Devil so they used Sam to contact the Devil. Both Steve and Tony gathered more demons and told them about their plan to kill the Devil. By killing the Devil, Sam's soul would finally be set free. Little did Sam know that this was part of the Devil's plan. In the end, all the demons were killed by the Devil instead.

When he found out it was Gladys who was responsible for the incidents, he sent Gladys back to hell. Sam begged the Devil to let Gladys work in the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) again, and the Devil agreed.

His father. Tony suspected Sam was the Devil's son because of their close and intimate relationship. Tony planned to build a Solomon cage to catch Sam. Sam's father showed up in the last minute and Tony knocked him down. He threw him in the cage, too. Tony had a vision where he saw Steve. He learned that Steve was now in heaven. He regretted and saved Sam from the cage.
He might be the Devil's son.. Sam went to consult a fortune teller. All the Tarot cards suggested that his father hid something about his birth. Also, his real father might be the Devil himself. Tony also suspected this. He knew something was wrong when the Devil himself met Sam in person and talked to him.

They were very violent.. Initially, the Devil only wanted Sam to catch 20 souls. Sam started questioning the Devil whether he wanted him dead by assigning him this seemingly impossible task. The Devil did not accept failure and he was very angry that Sam asked him that question. Later, he asked Sam to catch an additional 20 souls, making it to a total of 40 souls. These 40 souls lived in a warehouse and they were extremely violent. Sam was only provided with a cattle prod for his task.

A Vietnamese restaurant. Sam could have caught the Mongolian soldier earlier while in the stable but his spear got stuck in the wall and the Mongolian soldier escaped in a horse. Later, Ben deduced that the escaped soul would go to a Vietnamese restaurant. His prediction was true. Sam caught the soul in the kitchen of the restaurant.

She said that she was in the rebellion plan to kill the Devil. Since Sam worked for the Devil, she had to kill Sam as well.
