Peru. Jim was stuck in Peru after his army unit went down. Jim was the only survivor.
Jim Ellison. The Sentinel is Detective Jim Ellison played by Richard Burgi. Jim has hyperactive senses that he got when he was in the jungles of Peru.
Simon Banks. Joel Taggert is on the bomb squad, Mike Hurley was an ordinary officer who was in league with the bad guys and Mitch Reeves was an ex-firefighter who was thought to be the serial arsonist.

Randy Eckles. Randy Eckles was the leader of All-City Demo, a company which got payed to clean up the wreckage from the African-American churches that Axel blew up. Lee Brackett was the one who set bombs in episode 2 and Ray Weston was the psychotic escaped convict who stalked the famous singer Angie Ferris.
Run. In the Lee Brackett episode, Taggert wasn't able to diffuse the Brackett bomb in time so he fled the scene while the shack blew up behind him. It was mentioned by Jim in the skinhead episode when Axel had a bomb in the office and Jim figured out it was rigged to blow up no matter what with a remote detonator.

Dave Becker. Dave Foster chased Simon all the way through the hotel and even killed his own man Donaldson to avoid being caught. In college, him and Simon had a friendly rivalry. Billy Cates was the hotel receptionist.

Ben Crilly. Truck Bower was suspected because he was an ex-con, but he was innocent. Ridley was the man operating the radio tower and Jack Buchanan was the diver that was killed.
Jack Pendergrast. Hector Carasco was a Chilean drug-lord. Tony Deluca was a car thief. Axel Soles was the skinhead who blew up the African-American churches. Jack Pendergrast had a sixth toe and was murdered by Art Sturges.

Arthur Hughes. Arthur Hughes was the father of Lisa Hughes, a girl who killed herself after taking a drug. Agent Cameron was an FBI Agent who was impersonated and Agent Obecks was a bodyguard from the movie "Way of The Gun", which has nothing at all to do with The Sentinel.
June 13th. This is a little-known fact, but it says so during the series. I found it very interesting that his birthday is June 13th and so is mine.
