      No. Stanford does explain to Carrie that has three varieties of shrink. One for when he wants to be coddled, one for when he wants tough love, and one for when he just wants to look at a really gorgeous man. It is Miranda's therapist that refers Carrie to Dr. Ellen Greenfield. When Stanford hears her name he raves about her reputation to Carrie. Carrie meets another wrong guy at the doctor's office. His name is Seth (played by Jon Bon Jovi) and he loses interest in all women after he has sex with them.

      "How very George Michael of you.". George was arrested in April of 1998 for a "lewd" public act in a restroom. George later explained the situation in detail on the "Oprah Winfrey" show. He claimed to have been set up by the other interested party and that the police were waiting for him. Miranda's lover liked the potential to be caught in the act, and finally alienated her completely by taking her back to have sex in his apartment while his parents were visiting. They walked in on the two of them, and he did not even bother to stop what he was doing!

      Yes. Their connection started off innocently enough for Charlotte, who believed Stephen was a gay friend. When he kisses her passionately after an outing, she becomes confused, but intrigued. They later become lovers and Charlotte finally decides he has to be straight, but when he overreacts to a mouse in a trap she decides her gay straight man is too feminine for her! "Judging Amy" star Dan Futterman plays Stephen, the gay straight Manhattan chef.

    "The Caste System"- What is the name of Harvey Terkell's possessive Asian maid?A "Sexier" Season

      Sum. She comes across as very pleasing and compliant, but the minute Harvey is not around she treats Samantha horribly. Samantha quickly finds that Sum is more important to Harvey than any woman he is dating and that Sum has total control over that household. Samantha paraphrase: "She is not so dim, that Sum." A play on words of dim sum, a Chinese hors d'oeuvres of varying styles. The words dim sum translate as "to touch your heart".

    "The Caste System"- How did Carrie respond to Big's gift of the ugly swan purse?A "Sexier" Season

      "I love you.". Carrie says the words, and he does not. She explains to the girls that he has a short period of time to reciprocate or else she has to end it- again. Carrie: "Now I've laid down a gauntlet. He either has to say 'I love you' back or I guess I'm going to have to break up with him." Charlotte: "Well, how long are you going to give him?" Carrie: "Well, I didn't put an expiration date on the sentiment, but I figure it's got the shelf life of a dairy product. It's going to start to curdle in about a week."

    "The Man, the Myth, the Viagra"- What food item is Miranda arguing about on the phone with Carrie, when she first meets Steve Brady?A "Sexier" Season

      veal. Carrie was supposed to meet Miranda for dinner, but left her a message that she was not able to attend. Miranda never checked her messages and called Carrie's cell phone while she was at Big's for dinner. Carrie: "I'm at Big's." Miranda: "You're at Big's? You and I are having dinner tonight!" Carrie: "Well, he got this veal..." Miranda: "You blew me off for a piece of politically incorrect meat?"

    "The Chicken Dance"- This episode shows poor Miranda inadvertently setting up a man she is interested in with her Charlotte recommended decorator Madeline Dunn. Madeline asks Carrie to write her a poem just for the wedding, which was 4 weeks away. What was Charlotte's job?A "Sexier" Season

      bridesmaid. Charlotte was the bride's maid that found true love (for 4 hours) with her groomsman. One of her jobs was the get the honeymoon suit ready, and she did, after she and her companion made love on the honeymoon bed! It was Miranda who was in charge of both the guestbook and getting the gifts into the vehicle to take them home. Samantha's only job was to attend and mourn over the fact she'd slept with every man in Manhattan!

When the girls later discuss the topic of cheating, Carrie points out that he must not consider kissing to be cheating. Carrie points out that there might be a "cheating curve" depending on how committed the catcher is of the catchee, and Samantha points out that you are never really cheating unless someone catches you doing it!

      Nevin. Carrie stayed out all night on the evening before her photo shoot. When she arrived, some very unappealing shots were taken of her without makeup. One particularly bad shot of her smoking was the photo used with the title of "Single and Fabulous" with a question mark at the end. This awful questioning statement had the entire group silently pondering their own singleness. James Lascesne played Stanford's boyfriend Nevin.

    "The Freak Show"- Which lady discovers she is also a freak at the end of the episode?A "Sexier" Season

      Carrie. Carrie encounters a promising new love interest in the park. His name is Ben and from all appearances he seems normal. They decide to go out on a double date with Ben's friend and Miranda. Miranda is enjoying herself until this man reveals why his is a freak. He has not left Manhattan at all in ten years! Miranda convinces Carrie that Ben must be a freak too. So, Carrie worries herself so much she proves herself to be a freak as well, losing Ben in the process!

    "Take Me Out to The Ball Game"- Carrie ended her relationship a month earlier in the season one finale. When she does see Big again for the first time she is on a date with the new Yankee Joe Stark. Who is the first person Carrie calls after she ends her date with Joe?A "Sexier" Season

      Miranda. Miranda became angry with girls at their ritual breakfast earlier in the episode. She was frustrated that talented, intelligent women could only discuss past and current loves. The real problem was she herself was lonely and did not want to be reminded. Carrie is crushed after running into Big when she least expects it, ends her date with new Yankee earlier than planned, and goes straight to a pay phone and calls Miranda. They meet at "their place" (Carrie's words) and Miranda apologizes and comforts Carrie.

      The Way We Were. Robert Redford played Hubbell Gardener opposite Barbra Streisand's Katie Morosky in this 1973 movie. The girls raved about the movie and compared Hubbell to Mr. Big after Carrie heard about his engagement to Natasha. Samantha had never seen the movie, which shocked the other three, but at the end of their rendition of the theme song she exclaimed "I miss James!"

    "Ex And The City"- What part of Charlotte's body was injured by her horse Taddy when she was a child?A "Sexier" Season, #2

      collar bone. Charlotte is practically phobic about horse riding after the event and does not get back on a horse until this episode. But, a remembered love and perseverance guide her back to a joy of horses and she rides at a gallop through the park.

    "Twenty-something Girls Vs. Thirty-something Women"- Who was it that became enamored with Carrie?A "Sexier" Season, #2

      Laurel. Laurel was the 25 year old virgin that looked toward Carrie as a mentor. Rachel Minor, ex-wife of "Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin, played Laurel Harris. Anson Mount played Greg, the guy with an "insect issue", in this episode. Anson went on to star along side Britney Spears in "Crossroads" in 2002.

    "Twenty-something Girls Vs. Thirty-something Women"- Charlotte gets involved with a younger man on vacation. What was his name and age, and what age did Charlotte say she was?A "Sexier" Season, #2

      Greg- age 26, Charlotte- age 27. Not only did Charlotte lie about her age to impress a younger man, but she started to act like a college girl again. She used fun words like awesome and drank herself silly. Greg ended up leaving Charlotte with a party favor and Samantha introduced him to her ex-assistant Nina G.

    "Twenty-something Girls Vs. Thirty-something Women"- How did the girls get to the Hamptons?A "Sexier" Season, #2

      Jitney. The Jitney is a bus to the Hamptons. Carrie narrates that it is like the bus to summer camp, only everyone ignores each other and talks on their cellphones.

    "Shortcomings"- Carrie falls for a new person in this episode. It isn't the writer she's dating, but his mother. What is her name?A "Sexier" Season, #2

      Wallis. Valerie Harper played Wallis, the mother of the "too quick" Vaughn. Vaughn was slightly uptight in comparison to his very relaxed and hip family. Wallis and Carrie became fast friends right away, but had to end it sadly when Vaughn could not live up to Carrie's expectations in a boyfriend. Valerie Harper is best know as Rhoda Morgenstern on the hit "Rhoda" (1874-78) and as Valerie Hogan on "Valerie" for two seasons. "Valerie" was changed to "The Hogan Family" after Harper's character was killed off in an accident. Sandy Duncan came aboard to play Michael Hogan's sister for the remainder of the series' run.
