 Slayers
'Slayers NEXT'. 'Give a Reason' is very upbeat and the opening animation for it contained the first glimpse you ever get of Lina's big sister. Look for the girl dressed like a waitress.
'Jama Wa Sasenai'. For such a great song, the animation to this ending theme was very lackluster.
'Breeze'. The animation for this opening sequence was beautifully done. The imagery used in the animation was of birds and feathers which fly on the wind, thus the reference to the title 'Breeze.'
'Get Along'. The opening animation to this song was very poor, due to the fact that the show didn't have a large budget at the time.
Philionel. Philionel el de Saillune, the crown prince of Saillune, is big, burly, and looks like what Lina says "a troll". When Lina first saw Phil, she thought he was a bandit boss. Deep down, Phil isn't a bad guy at all. He's kind and a bigger champion of justice than his daughter, Amelia. Phil is a sworn pacifist but does fight if needed with very oxymoronic attacks. Filia. Filia Ul Copt, one of the last remaining golden dragons, can change back and forth between a human form and a golden dragon form. Filia can be very kind and sweet but also very loud and bad tempered. She hates Xellos with a passion because he killed many golden dragons in the past. If Xellos gets Filia angry, she will whip out her mace (which she keeps hidden under her skirt) and bashes Xellos on the head with it, calling him something that literally means "raw garbage." For the incorrect answers, Eris, Naga, and Gourry are all humans.
Martina. Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova specializes in curses and loves to pray to her made up monster, "Zomogustar". Generally, Martina hates Lina for destroying her father's kingdom and making her poor. Martina is a total klutz who constantly has crushes on all guys she meets. At the end of "Slayers Next", Martina marries Zangulus, a strong swordsman. For the incorrect answers, Filia, Naga, and Eris don't have a good enough imagination as Martina. Is that a good thing?
Xellos. Xellos, the ever so annoying priest, is a monster and the general priest of Great Beast Zellas. Being a monster, he feeds off negative emotions from people. No one knows what Xellos is really up to when he does things. If anyone asks him a question about something important, his usual reply is "Now that is a secret", which generally pisses everyone off. For the incorrect answers, Zelgadis, Amelia, and Zangulus would never say a quote like that. They don't have the time to be so annoying all the time.
Naga. It is not a commonly known fact that Naga is Amelia's older sister, Gracia, and the eldest daughter of the crown prince of Saillune. But the question is, if that's true, then why does she parade around in a black bikini and cape, calling herself Naga the White Serpent? Who knows. Besides her ever so annoying laugh, Naga is just as greedy as Lina and is considered her biggest rival. For the incorrect answers, Gourry sure rivals Lina in food...but that's about it, Zelgadis is never a rival of Lina, and Martina is considered to be a big annoyance rather than a rival to Lina.
Sylphiel. Sylphiel Nels Lahda, the shrine maiden of Sairaag, is sweet and caring to all those around her. Besides being a good cook, Sylphiel is really good at white magic and can do some black and shaman magic. Unfortunately for her, she is totally in love with Gourry, who doesn't have a clue at all. For the incorrect answers, Filia, Eris, and Amelia are not shrine maidens at all.
Amelia. Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune, the younger daughter of the crown prince of Saillune, is a justice-loving young girl who's always bright and cheery. Constantly giving out justice speeches, Amelia believes that everything should be fair and that everyone should obey the laws. Naturally, she's too pure and naive to realize the world is not always a fair place where justice isn't always served. For the incorrect answers, Slyphiel wouldn't have the time to say everything Amelia says, Martina goes against justice, and Gourry...well, he just does whatever Lina does.
Zelgadis. Zelgadis Greywords, a chimera of 1/3 human, 1/3 demon, and 1/3 golem, was turned into this form by his great-grandfather, Rezo the Red Priest, when he offered Zelgadis the chance to be stronger. Zelgadis blindly accepted his offer and was cursed with a chimera body. Depressive and cold at times, Zelgadis constantly searches for a cure. For the incorrect answers, Xellos is a monster, Naga is a human, and Filia is a golden dragon.
Gourry. Gourry Gabriev, the wielder of the sword of light, is strong, handsome, and brave. The bad thing about this great swordsman is that he has a terrible memory, which is generally the cause of Lina's annoyance. Gourry rivals Lina in her appetite and the two will usually get into fights over food. Besides all that, Gourry sees himself as Lina's faithful guardian. For the incorrect answers, Lina sometimes makes use of the sword of light but isn't actually the wielder, Glenn is a made up character, and why would Rezo wield a sword?

Lina. Lina Inverse, the main character of "Slayers", is described as loudmouthed, bad tempered, freakishly strong, rude, obnoxious, and greedy, which probably isn't a bad reputation to some. Besides all that, Lina is a traveling sorceress who specializes in black magic. She is known as a "bandit killer" because she makes her money by hurting or killing bandits and taking their treasure. Despite all this, Lina can be a caring and smart individual. Even though she's small, Lina has a large appetite and can eat more then five men at a time. For the incorrect answers, Naga uses great black magic but isn't called a "bandit killer", Eris also uses great black magic but didn't kill any bandits at all, and who is Rani you ask? She is a character I made up.
