Teyla. Teyla is the leader of the Athosians. The Athosians live as a simple people and move their camps around to try and avoid the great enemy.
John Shepperd. John sat in the chair in the Antarctic site, and the chair powered up. John was also able to bring up the display of the galaxies.

Keras. Lt. Elliot appears in three episodes of "Stargate SG-1" before he gives his life to save SG-1. The character of Keras, played by Courtenay J. Stevens in "Atlantis", is also willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for his people.
Dr. Kavanagh. Dr. Kavanagh believes Dr. Weir is being reckless, whereas she believes he is a coward. In "Letters From Pegasus", Dr. Kavanagh sends a list of complaints to Gen. O'Neill about Dr. Weir's leadership.
British. The scientists on Atlantis are from many countries; their nationalities are indicated by the flags on their uniform. In the "Stargate SG-1" episode "Disclosure" the existence of the Stargate is revealed to the governments of China, France and Britain. Since then many other countries must have been informed.
Leg. Maj. Sheppard shoots Dr. McKay in the leg to test a personal force field. Fortunately, the field works and Dr. McKay is unharmed.
A nice turkey sandwich. The reason that Ancient technology can read Sheppard's mind is that he has the Ancient gene needed for Ancient technology activation, and discovered by Dr. Beckett.
Before I Sleep. Actress Melia McClure plays the Ancient holographic recording who tells the history of Atlantis and warns of a powerful enemy. She appears again in "Before I Sleep", when Dr. Weir goes back in time ten thousand years and meets the Ancients.
Bon Voyage. The simple message is attached to a magnum of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial. It's opened at the end of the episode.
The city of Atlantis blasting into space from Antarctica several million years ago. The first scene of "Stargate Atlantis" starts with a spectacular shot of the city lifting off from the ice of Antarctica heading for the Pegasus Galaxy. We also see an Ancient woman watching the launch, and behind her there is the chair that is found by O'Neill in the "Stargate SG-1" episode "Lost City."
Everett. Colonel Dillon Everett comes through the Stargate to take command of the Atlantis expedition. A friend of Col. Sumner, he doesn't care much for Maj. Sheppard, who killed Sumner. Later, Everett is tortured by the Wraith and forced to return to Earth.
Grandmother. We see Lt. Ford saying goodbye to his grandmother in "Rising" and it's clear Ford has a soft spot for her as he mentions her several times during the series.

Before I Sleep. In "Before I Sleep", Dr. Weir travels back in time ten thousand years by use of a modified Puddle-Jumper. Dr. Weir meets Janus, the Ancient scientist who built the modified Puddle-Jumper. Janus hints at his intention to build another time ship when he gets back to Earth. This is probably the ship found by SG-1 in the episode "It's Good To Be King."
Captain Kirk. McKay's comment comes after Maj. Sheppard, in typical Captain Kirk style, kisses Chaya Sar, a beautiful priestess. Dr. McKay comments, "The romancing of the alien priestess? It's very 1967 of you," referring to the year "Star Trek" was on TV.
Prime/Not Prime. The game of Prime/Not Prime consists of one person saying a number and then someone else has to decide if it's a prime number or not. The scientists are amused by Lt. Ford who gets every one wrong as even guessing, he should get it right 50% of the time.
Zero Point Module. Zero Point Modules are Ancient power cells that draw energy from subspace. Throughout the series, the team searches for these elusive items, as they could produce enough power to raise the city's shield and open a wormhole to Earth.
Bee stings. Throughout "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate Atlantis," Dr. McKay has revealed many things he is allergic to. In this episode, he reveals that he's allergic to bee stings after seeing an alien firefly which is very similar to the creatures seen on M4C-862 in the "Stargate SG-1" episode "Prodigy."
Genii. The Genii were first seen in "Underground" where they were trying to develop an atomic bomb to fight off the Wraith. For many reasons, the Genii and Atlantis team become enemies. In "The Storm" and "The Eye", led by the malevolent Kolya, the Genii take over Atlantis.
They'd both been dead for years. The aliens on planet M5S-224 fool the Atlantis team into thinking that they have returned home. However, without sufficient knowledge of Earth, the aliens make certain mistakes. Along with his two dead friends, Maj. Sheppard meets his sixth grade teacher and a girl who refused to date him in high school.
Most of his high school chess team. Mackay says most of his high school chess team could design an A-bomb and that the 'only' hard thing is getting sufficient fissional materials. He also reveals that he built an atomic bomb for his grade six science fair exhibit, which prompted a visit from the CIA.
"Sanctuary". Teyla: "The Wraith darts have been destroyed."
John: "Ah that's a good thing."
Rodney: "I thought for sure we were dead. Anyone think we were dead?"
"Rising Part 2". After a team lead by Col. Sumner travels to Athos to try and bargain for someplace to stay the Wraith attack. After being 'culled' and trapped in the Wraith hive, Sumner tries to negotiate with the Wraith.
"Letters from Pegasus". Teyla and John in the Puddlejumper waiting for Orin.
John: "I said that I'd wait for your friend if there was time. Now there's time. What else do you want from me?"
Teyla: "Too much, I fear."
John: "It's gonna be a long night."
