Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
The Office (US) - Season 4
Yes. After Michael's unfortunate carb-loading experience, we see him lying in a hospital bed. Meredith wheels her wheelchair up to his bedside and tells him that she's not mad at him anymore. Then they share a lollipop.
Creed, Stanley, and Oscar. As the race is beginning, we see Creed, Stanley, and Oscar hop into a cab. Later, we see them ordering several beers at a bar. We see them again, getting out of the cab at the end of the race.
Fettuccine alfredo. Michael devours an entire meal of fettuccine alfredo right before the race. You can imagine the rest...
Walked in on Michael while he was changing. Pam knocked on the door and Michael said "come in". When she walked in, Michael was naked from the waist down. Pam was aghast and Michael yelled at her for not knocking. Later, Jan confronts Pam and tells her that Michael is taken and to keep her hands off him.
Nipple chafing. Andy places several layers of padding over his nipples to prevent nipple chafing. He claims that it's a vicious cycle - once they start, they become more sensitive and chafe even more... All his preventative measures didn't do much good. They were bleeding by the end of the race.
he organizes a rabies awareness fund raiser. Michael organizes a rabies awareness fun run called "Michael Scott's Dunder-Mifflin, Scranton, Meredith Palmer memorial, celebrity rabies awareness, fun run, Pan-Am race for the cure".
The office olympics occurred in a previous episode while Michael was out of the office buying his condo. Michael promises the office a surprise in the episode "Health Care" but never follows through.
Sprinkles. Angela asked Dwight to go to her house to take care of her sick cat, Sprinkles. When Dwight gets back, he tells her that her cat is dead and that he put it in the freezer so it wouldn't smell. Angela, however, suspects Dwight may have killed it on purpose. She refers to clawed bags of frozen french fries alongside it in the freezer.
Kevin. Like the rest of us, Kevin is highly curious about the status of Jim and Pam's relationship. Are they just friends or MORE? The camera crew reveals to the audience that they are, indeed, more than friends, but poor Kevin never gets to find out.
Meredith. Michael was so busy talking to the camera while pulling into the company parking lot that he wasn't paying attention to his driving. Meredith is OK but the rest of the staff is very angry with him. Michael informs Ryan that since he hit her "with company property, on company property" that the company is off the hook because its double jeopardy.
Cereal. Michael says that Jan made him breakfast, but in reality, she just bought the milk for his cereal. Soy milk, at that.
Even though he had cereal that morning, Michael does love his sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits.
Since his self proclaimed "meteoric rise", Ryan has turned into a really pompous guy. He treated his former co-workers poorly, he ordered Michael around like he was his personal assistant, he wore expensive clothing, bragged about all the famous people he was brushing shoulders with in NYC, and told the audience the cost of his haircut. How much was it? | NBCs "The Office" - Dunder Mifflin Infinity
|
200 dollars. Ryan paid 200 dollars for his haircut, and it looked exactly the same as his old haircuts!
Michael's new rental car had a GPS system installed, which Michael took very seriously. He followed its directions so literally that he turned right as soon as he was told to and drove into a body of water. What body of water does Michael drive head first into? | NBCs "The Office" - Dunder Mifflin Infinity
|
Lake Scranton. Michael drove the rental car into Lake Scranton. Michael asked Dwight if he was OK because that was the most important thing. Dwight pointed out that he hoped Michael got rental insurance because that was a pretty important thing too.
Michael later told the office that it happened because he trusted "Ryan's precious technology" and that gift baskets never hurt anybody.
Andy and Kevin told Jim that Ryan is "so money" and that he could get any girl he wanted. An amused Jim later informed us that Ryan can't get ANY girl he wants. Who couldn't Ryan get? | NBCs "The Office" - Dunder Mifflin Infinity
|
Pam. Ryan asked Pam to help design a logo for the company and then asked her out to dinner. Pam told Ryan that she and Jim were dating. Ryan has thus far asked out (or tried to ask out) every girl we have seen Jim date (Katie, Karen, and Pam).
With gift baskets. Michael decided that he was going to win back the clients the old school way - with gift baskets filled with peanut brittle, macadamia nut cookies, chocolate turtles, raspberry jam and a little bit of fat and salt. He also announced that "gift baskets are... the essence of class and fanciness. They are the ultimate present that a person can receive."
Robert Dunder. To prove that old people are still useful members of society, Michael invited Robert Dunder, the founder of Dunder Mifflin to to speak during the meeting. Mr. Dunder, however, turned out to be slightly senile, so Michael quickly escorted him out of the room.
Ryan told the Scranton workers that he's organizing a massive overhaul of the company to make it younger, sleeker, and more agile to adapt to the marketplace. Who took this information as a threat? | NBCs "The Office" - Dunder Mifflin Infinity
|
Creed. Creed told Michael that all the old timers were screwed. Michael panicked a little, but Creed really took offense. The next time Creed was shown, he had dyed his hair jet black (with a sharpie!) and announced to the office that he was going to turn 30 next November.
I'm pregnant. For some strange reason, Kelly decided that the best way to win Ryan back was to tell him that she's pregnant (which she wasn't) and that she's keeping the baby. After Ryan got over his shock, he told her that they'd discuss it over dinner. VICTORY!
Garbage. Dwight gave Angela a cat to replace Sprinkles, the cat he euthanized in the last episode. Mose named him Garbage because he likes to eat garbage. Angela hated the cat and refused to take him so Dwight tossed him into the Vance Refrigeration office and ran.
When Michael walked into the conference room, he saw the party planning committee hanging decorations. The women notice that he's holding a piece of paper and discover that he has scripted his "that's what she said" jokes. What is NOT one of the jokes he has scripted? | NBCs "The Office" - Dunder Mifflin Infinity
|
How did you make it so big?. Even the best of the best have to script jokes sometimes... Michael scripted "Can you make that straighter" in reference to the banner they were hanging up, "That job looks hard" in reference to the overall decoration job, and "You should put your mouth on that" in reference to blowing up balloons.
Toby. Toby sent around a memo reminding the staff not to engage in "PDA" around the office. Michael was convinced it was because of what he and Jan did in his office (although he swore that the blinds were closed and they were quiet and that most of the staff had gone home for the day anyway) but Toby said it was about Jim and Pam. Everyone was shocked and Pam asked if it was Toby's fun way of congratulating them, which Toby reluctantly agreed to.
Farm animals. Darryl's band played at the party and there was a ferris wheel along with fireworks (when Andy proposed to Angela).
A rock. The note attached to the rock wasn't very nice, according to Pam who was watching the whole thing (Toby's exit interview). Michael said that it was a "joke" and he meant to give Toby his watch instead, which he did.
A raccoon. Immediately, Michael chastises him for doing so (even though he probably made Dwight pull this prank prior to meeting Holly).
Anti-gravity machine. Phyllis was put in charge of finding this impossible item but the only thing she could come up with was one of those Astro Jump play areas (Kevin took to it immediately).
Kevin. Kevin admits his feelings for Holly in a rather crude way. In the end, Michael found himself talking to his ex-girlfriend Jan and finds out that she's pregnant.
Fraud. He told Jim to enter the daily sales into the computer again, thus inflating the sales figures.
Costa Rica. He mentions this in the episode when the gates at the parking lot to Dunder-Mifflin have been locked. The whole office is throwing a party for him.
In the episode "Did I Stutter?" Andy is selling his car. Dwight finds out and makes an offer on the car, which Andy accepts. What type of car did Andy sell Dwight? | "The Office" (US) Season 4
|
Nissan Xterra. On the flier Andy is planning to sell his Nissan Xterra for $8,700. Dwight finds this flier and contacts Andy about the car. Dwight and Andy go out to see the car. Dwight begins to point out many flaws in the car and eventually makes an offer of $1,500 less than the original price. Andy accepts. The next day another flier appears with the same Nissan Xterra on it, but with a different price and owner. Dwight is planning to sell the car for $9,995. Andy confronts Dwight and asks for the car back. Dwight then tells him that three different people are bidding on it currently on Ebay.
In the episode "Night Out" the Scranton branch is going to be forced to come to work on Saturday. Jim gets everyone to stay late to finish the work they're supposed to do on Saturday. They end up getting locked in the business park. Jim then calls Hank, the security guard, to have him come let everyone out. Does Hank let the Scranton branch employees out of the parking lot? | "The Office" (US) Season 4
|
No. Jim forgot to tell Hank, the security guard, that everyone was staying late on Friday. Hank left normally and locked the fence that surrounds the business park that the office is located in. As the office workers come out they find the gates locked. They all go back inside of the building and call Hank. He says he's coming. While waiting for Hank to arrive, the cleaning crew is outside the front gates. Jim rushes out and tries to talk to them, but they speak only Spanish. Oscar talks to them and the cleaning crew opens the gates for them. In the final scene of the episode Hank is shown entering the parking lot to find no one.
In the episode "Dinner Party" Jim, Pam, Andy, and Angela come over to Michal and Jan's for dinner. Michael and Jan then take the guests on a tour of the house. They stop in Jan's workplace in the condo and find her product. What product is Jan trying to start her business around? | "The Office" (US) Season 4
|
Candles. Jan wants to start a company called "Serenity by Jan". In her workroom she has lots of candles in various different scents and sizes. Later in the episode Michael takes Jim and Andy into his garage and offers them a stake in the company for $10,000. Both Jim and Andy deny the offer to invest in Jan's company.
In the episode "The Deposition" Jim has trouble beating Darryl in a sport. Kelly, who is Darryl's girlfriend at the time, ridicules Pam. This causes Pam to have Jim practice a lot. What sport were they playing? | "The Office" (US) Season 4
|
Ping Pong. In the beginning of the episode Darryl beats Jim in ping-pong, with each point scored by Darryl a remark from Kelly would be directed to Pam about how Jim wasn't any good. After going back upstairs Pam sets up a make shift ping pong table in the conference room. Jim goes in and Pam brings in several office workers, one at a time, to play Jim. Soon Jim feels that he is good enough to play Darryl, and maybe win. When they go back down to play, Jim loses. Pam gets fed up with the comments from Kelly and challenges her to play. Jim and Darryl get bored quickly and go upstairs to play on the table in the conference room. In the final scene of the episode Dwight and his cousin Mose are shown playing ping pong.
