'Three's Company' - Season 1
five. She mentions gin, tequila, whiskey, rum, and vodka. She was about to mention at least one more, but then she remembered Jack.
scrambled eggs. According to Jack, they were horrible. Even Janet said they were ready for the garbage pail.
broke it. She was trying to scrape the toast with a knife, but each piece broke.
a ladle. This was the same ladle that had turned green when it touched Chrissy's infamous punch.
platonic. He said "What does that mean?" Mrs. Roper said "Like you and me, Stanley." That's when he figured it out.
vacuuming. Janet apparently had a hangover and all the noise really got to her.
Patricia . Mr. Roper thought she was a man at first and poked her repeatedly in the chest. When he embarrassedly ran out, she said, "He touched my bosoms." She stopped at the door, and said "He didn't even say PLEASE!"
spider. She said it scared her to death, so "I've kept the plug in it ever since." Janet then said, "She could have fooled me."
Boy 7 pounds 8 ounces. Chrissy told Janet this when Janet said that she thought that she had ruined the wedding reception for Eleanor trying to do a strip tease show at the party.
L.A. Technical College. Jack told them this when they were in the kitchen and the asked him if he could cook. He told them that he was in college to become a chef.
Electric bill. There was no mention of electric bill nor water bill, but back then most apartments had that part covered in the rent.
Janet. Jack and Chrissy were in the kitchen after Mr. Roper said that Jack could not live there. Jack was putting on his pants which were fresh from the oven and said he should have told Mr. Roper off. Chrissy said that she wanted to see that. When Jack was trying to tell him off, Mr. Roper told Jack that he was allowed to move in. When the Ropers left Janet said that she told Mr. Roper that Jack was a decent, respectable, hard working man and that he was gay.

John Ritter. The first pilot had John Ritter, Suzanne Zenor, and Valerie Curtin. This pilot was rejected. The second pilot, which was also rejected had John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt and Susan Lanier as the roommates. Norman Fell and Audra Lindley were also in all three of the pilot episodes that were shot.
And Mother Makes Four. She invited the kids to go with her to the Regal Beagle and it was her treat. They turned her down but Jack and Janet went there later after Chrissy told them that her mother was coming to visit. Mrs. Roper noticed that Jack was checking out the cocktail waitress. She told Jack not to worry because she would never tell Stanley.
No Children, No Pets. Larry went to the trio’s apartment to give them a puppy. They did not want the puppy since pets were not allowed. When Larry hinted that the puppies would be put to sleep if they did not find a home, they accepted the puppy. Larry Dallas would soon be known as Jack’s best friend and was a used car salesman.
Karen. Karen was visiting from New York. She was played by Christina Hart. It was Mrs. Roper’s idea for Jack to take Karen out on a date so she could enjoy herself.
Jack the Giant Killer. Jim was not in the episode "And Mother Makes Four" which was the first time the Regal Beagle was shown. He was the bartender at the Regal Beagle for the first four seasons.
Yes. Dean Travers made his debut in "It’s Only Money" when Jack applied for a loan to pay the rent since the roommates thought that it was stolen.
Bathroom. Chrissy discovered Jack in the bathtub. He passed out there after drinking some of the punch. He was with some friends the night before that crashed the party.
And Mother Makes Four. This was the second episode of "Three’s Company". Mrs. Roper invited the kids to join here there. They declined but Jack and Janet went later in the episode. Janet told Jack that he would like it there, the beer was flat but the waitresses were not.
Eleanor. Cindy was the roommate part of the way into season 5. Terri was the roommate from seasons six through eight. Sara was the girl that applied to move in during the pilot episode.
