Maggie. The 25 year-old Maggie was an emergency room nurse. April was a pharmaceutical sales rep, was a personal shopper, and Eric was a firefighter.
Kaysar. Kaysar was 24 years old and from Irvine, CA. Sarah was a retail manager, Beau was a personal shopper, and Ivette was a waitress.
2. Ivette and Janelle were waitresses and both were from Miami Beach, FL.
Rachel. Rachel was the 33 year old horse breeder from Parker, CO. Sarah was a retail manager, Jennifer was an Arena Football League dancer, and April was a pharmaceutical sales rep.
James. James said he was a ninth grade philosophy teacher in the first episode when he was actually a loss prevention manager. James was 29 and from Atlanta, GA.
Jennifer. Jennifer was from Plano, TX and was 27 years old.
Ashlea. Ashlea was a 22 year old fasion design student from Plantation, FL. Maggie was an emergency room nurse, Kaysar was a graphic designer, and Beau was a personal shopper.
Eric age 36. Eric, the 36 year old firefighter was the oldest houseguest. Howie was 34, Rachel was 33 and April was 30.
Julie Chen. She is the one person who runs all of the HOH challenges and evictions.
April. April was cutting the flowers and she stated she was a cut-throat competitor.
Eric. Eric kicks into overdrive, working his powers of persuasion on Kaysar and Michael, solidifying an all-male alliance.
Kaysar and Ashlea. Rachel contemplates before choosing her nominees. The houseguests assemble downstairs for the nomination ceremony. Staying true to her orange team alliance, Rachel puts Ashlea and Kaysar on the block. Rachel gets misty when explaining her nominations, but Ashlea and Kaysar promise to go out fighting.
Rachel. The last housemate remaining on the surfboard wins the Head of Household title. Attempts at an alliance are agreed to between the teammates, yet one by one, in Darwinian fashion, the weak fall by the wayside, leaving Rachel and Howie in a head-to-head battle. The call of nature overrides Howie's determination as he leaps into the water, leaving Rachel to win Head of Household.
Janelle and Eric. The houseguests are not yet settled in when the first tensions arise over bedding between blonde bombshell Janelle, 25-year-old single cocktail waitress from Miami Beach, and Eric, 36-year old married firefighter from Boston.
April, Howie, Ashlea and Jennifer. Julie (the host) welcomes the nubile newbies to their decked-out palatial pad, first sending in April, Howie, Ashlea and Jennifer. These four guarantee themselves beds to sleep on.
The houseguests are playing against each other in secret alliances.. The houseguests are playing against each other in secret alliances, with the real kicker being that each pair think they are the only "team" in the house. They don't realize that everyone is playing the same game. If the teammates are the last two standing in the house, the winner will take home a record $1 million.

Janelle. In this competition, any person who answered the question incorrect was eliminated. If they all answered correctly, then the person who was last to answer the question was eliminated from the competition.
Ashlea. Ashlea was evicted by the vote of 9-2. James cast his vote to save her to cause a doubt in the other houseguests' minds as to where the second vote came from.

1. James and Sarah were the only team with their significant other. The remaining teams were comprised of friends, co-workers, and former or current roommates. It also showed the Eric might not be a firefighter which was what he claimed to be. It showed him with his teammate both in scrubs. Also on the live feeds he described how he got the job as a paramedic in Las Vegas.

The hot tub. Rachel tried the key on many items and when she was by the hot tub tested the key and found that it worked. She then asked the houseguests if they wanted to use the hot tub that night and revealed what she had found.

Janelle. Rachel, as the Head of Household had the first pick and she chose Maggie. Ashlea selected Howie as her partner and Kaysar selected Eric. Rachel won the Power of Veto competition.
Rachel. Sarah was the only person in the bedroom when Rachel found the gold room. Rachel was determined to solve this secret room on her own.

Janelle. The order that the nomination ceremony keys were pulled was Janelle, Maggie, Beau, Jennifer, Eric, April, Ivette, James, Michael, Sarah and Howie. Ashlea and Kaysar were the houseguests nominated for eviction.
| After the food competition was complete, the winning team entered the Head of Household competition. The houseguests had to stand on the surfboard and the last person on the surfboard was the winner. Who came in second place in this Head of Household competition? | "Big Brother 6" Part 1

Howie. Rachel won the Head of Household competition. James was the first one to get off of the surfboard. When it was Rachel and Howie who remained on the surfboard, Howie said something to the affect that it would not look good if they stayed up there together for very long. Howie then said he had to use the bathroom and jumped into the pool.
Orange team won, score 23-7. The teams had to pick coconuts from a tree and pass them to their shooter. This was done while they were all on a surfboard. The shooter had to shoot the coconuts into the mouth of the Big Kahuna. The losing team had to eat peanut butter and jelly for one week.
Yes. This was not shown on the show, but on the first night as Head of Household, Eric left the key to the Head of Household room in the room. The production crew gave him another key when they put a spare key in the storage room.

4. The tie breaker question was how many total coconuts were on both trees combined in the food competition "Wipe Out". Kaysar won with the answer of 100. The correct answer was 184.
Ivette. When Michael walked to the door to the door, Ivette stayed on the couch. Eric stood up but walked away. This may have been the most awkward eviction ceremony in "Big Brother" history. Originally Eric did not want anyone to walk Michael to the door, this was shown on the live feeds the day before the live nomination show.

9-1, Michael evicted. The only houseguest to vote to evict Janelle was Kaysar.
Eric. Eric finished the power of veto competition in 9:03 and the winner, who was James, finished it in 6:31. Michael had the second fastest time and Janelle had the third fastest time.
Rachel. Michael, while joking with Janelle stated that he should ask Eric to tell him how his grandparents had died. He then said it was a low statement and would not do that. Rachel ran to tell Eric this and did not give him the full story which got Eric very upset. Because of these items, a heated discussion erupted in the backyard later that evening.
