Geraldine. Geraldine was chosen by popular acclaim. She forced David to make certain concessions before she agreed to drop out.
Stained glass window. No one could remember what the window actually depicted. It was suggested that the new one should show Moses, or sheep. Eventually Gerry made the decision.
Kylie Minogue. As Gerry said as an intro "I don't care what the bible says about girls kissing girls, I'd snog her". She is Hugo's favourite singer.

'Songs of Praise'. Where Geraldine meets her perfect match, Tristan. It wasn't easy for the congregation to hear Gerry's jokes take after take after take.

the Queen of 'Cordon Blugh'!. Mrs Cropley would make up the most interesting concoctions in her cooking, and in her flower arranging. It was not unusual to have a ham sandwich flavoured with lemon curd, or to find a pineapple placed squarely in the centre of an arrangement of carnations at a funeral.
Geraldine. When Geraldine asked Alice who she voted for at the last election, she was told that she definitely did not want the Conservatives to win, so she put a big cross by that name!
a tree goes through it. There is a wonderful PCC scene where a long discussion takes place about the Big Storm and the Big Wind and so forth. Marvellous scripting.
Kylie Minogue. Geraldine thought that Elton John was coming, having booked Reginald Dwight to appear. Kylie showed up on her doorstep on the day of the Fayre looking for Elton and Geraldine persuaded her to appear instead.
Songs of Praise. And, of course, it does not go according to plan.
