Popular. 'Popular' was one of my favorite shows from the WB. It premiered September 29, 1999 and was cancelled 2 years later in 2001. I wish it still came on.
Sabrina The Teenage Witch . 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch' premiered September 27, 1996 on ABC on the Friday night TGIF line-up. It is now part of the WB's Friday night line-up and Harvey's no longer on the show. I used to like to watch Sabrina when she was in high school, but now the show isn't as good.
Charmed. 'Charmed' premiered on the WB October 7, 1998. It used to consist of three sisters played by Allysa Milano, Shannon Dougherty, and Holly Marie Combs, but Shannon was killed off. Now it's still Allysa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and the new half-sister played by Rose McGowen.
Gilmore Girls . 'Gilmore Girls' premiered on the WB October 25, 2000. It is about a woman who got pregnant at a young age and disappointed her parents all through her life and when her daughter's like 15, she needs her parents' help to get her daughter into a nice school that she's dreamed about going to. The show pretty much is based around that and all the things that happen from there.
7th Heaven . '7th Heaven' premiered on August 26, 1996. It is a family show that deals with just about every kind of problem people can have in their life from teen pregnancy to the World Trade Center incident that occurred in 2001.
Dawson's Creek . 'Dawson's Creek'premiered on the WB on January 20, 1998. It deals with the relationships of mainly 4 best friends that practically grew up together. I've been watching since the second season and I love this show. It's my favorite.
Reba. 'Reba' premiered this past year on October 5, 2001. It is a new show about a woman who's husband leaves her because he got the woman he was having an affair with pregnant and her teenage daughter gets pregnant by a dumb football player. His parents don't agree with the pregnancy and the fact that they want to get married so they pretty much kick him out of their house and Reba has to deal with all this stuff. She lets him move into her house and marry her daughter. It's actually a pretty funny show.
Young Americans. 'Young Americans' was a short lived show that premiered July 12, 2000. It was a spin-off of 'Dawson's Creek' with a guy named Will, who was one of their old friends from when they were kids. This show was on for one season and I never heard any more about it. I actually really loved it (almost more than 'Dawson's Creek').
Angel . 'Angel' is a show that premiered on the WB on October 5, 1999. I actually really can't tell you much about this show except for the fact that it's a spin-off from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. I never watch either shows, but my dad has really gotten hooked on 'Angel' in the last few episodes.
Raising Dad. 'Raising Dad' is part of the WB's Friday night line-up. It premiered this past year on October 5, 2001 (the same day as 'Reba'). Bob Saget, who plays the dad, is someone we all remember as Danny Tanner, the lovable, super clean dad, from nothing else but 'Full House.'
'Gilmore Girls'. "Gilmore Girls" is on Tuesdays at 8 and stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. It's almost two years since these girls started drinking java and making wisecracks.
'7th Heaven'. Barry Watson left due to Hogdkin's disease treatment; he started a stint on the show as a writer and has made several special appearances in seasons 7, 8, and 9.
'Smallville'. The second season of 'Smallville' began on September 24, 2002.
Angel. The theme song for "Popular" was "Supermodel" by Kendall Payne, "Dawson's Creek" is by Paula Cole (everyone should know that!), and "Charmed" is a remake of "How soon is Now" by Love Spit Love. The theme for "Angel" was an instrumental composed by Darling Violetta. They went on to create the theme for Eliza Dushku's series "Tru Calling".
