Call of Duty: Black Ops
In going after Steiner, both Mason and Hudson had different goals. Mason went along with Reznov to kill Steiner, while Hudson went along with Weaver to get Steiner alive. In the end, someone killed Steiner. Who killed Steiner? | "Call of Duty: Black Ops" Campaign
|
Mason. Reznov is dead; he has been dead for five years; he was never there. It was all in Mason's head that Reznov was there. In Vorkuta, Dragovich tried to brainwash Mason into killing Kennedy, but Reznov sabotaged that. In doing so, he brainwashed Mason into killing Dragovich, Kravchenko, and Steiner. Hudson and Weaver arrive just before Mason shoots Steiner. After Mason kills Steiner, Hudson brings Mason down just before Mason shoots Hudson, and Hudson knocks him out. They bring Mason back to an interrogation room, and Hudson is the mysterious interrogator.
There is a biological weapon in this game that is so deadly, you'll be dead before you hit the ground at first exposure. What is the name of this toxin? | "Call of Duty: Black Ops" Campaign
|
Nova 6. This neurotoxin is so deadly, that with first exposure of it, you'll be dead before you hit the ground. In one of the missions, you play as Hudson, and an enemy had released the Nova 6 gas. You then have to put on a Hazmat suit and can go through it just fine. The only problem: the suit can be punctured, and you will die from that.
They fought together in the Red Army. In Reznov's mission, you fight alongside both Dragovich and Kravchenko, even though the blood was bad. The other three I made up.
"Dragovich. Kravchenko. Steiner. All must die.". He says this to Mason after his flashback in Mason's flashback. Although he says the other phrase in some of Mason's flashbacks, but that is not what he tells to Mason directly. The "With my life" and the "Freedom" phrases I made up.
Kravchenko tried to kill this Russian operative, but he survived. What is the name of this Russian, and how did Kravchenko try to kill him? | "Call of Duty: Black Ops" Campaign
|
Weaver and he was stabbed in the eye. His name was Weaver, and throughout the rest of the campaign he wears an eye patch. It was in the mission where Mason and Woods were trying to stop a launch of a missile and save him. You see through your binoculars and see Kravchenko stabbing something into Weavers eye.
Dragon's Breath. This ammo is pretty useful against enemies because you have a chance to kill two or three people with one shot. It just lights them on FIRE! All other choices I made up.
"Black Ops" is a little further back than "Modern Warfare 2" as far as time and technology goes. When exactly do the events in "Black Ops" take place? | "Call of Duty: Black Ops" Campaign
|
1961-1968. You're in Cuba in 1961. The next set of missions starts in 1963. Then you go through the Vietnam War in 1968. Yes I know there is a mission with Reznov in the 1940's, but that's a flashback level, not part of the main story...
To assassinate Castro. Assassinating Castro was your main objective. All other answers are false because both the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missle Crisis were mentioned, but were never part of the level, and the Nuclear Weapons are not in Cuba.
In a torture chair. It's in the torture chair, because when you click from the main menu new game, the main character is in a torture chair being interrogated by someone. Cuba is where the character starts playing, but it starts off in a chair. Vietnam is a few levels later. Cambodia is a place mentioned in "Black Ops", but you never play in the country itself.
Mason. The correct answer was Mason, though his full name is Alex Mason. Rojas is the name of an enemy in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", Reznov is Viktor Reznov, and you do play as him in one level, but he is not the main character, although he does help out Mason in a few of his levels. Hudson is the name of another playable character, but only in a few missions, and he also assists Mason in some of his missions.
If you're one of those exceptional team players, you're probably going to equip this eight kill streak instead of Rolling Thunder, but what exactly is the Blackbird? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
An advanced radar that shows the exact position and direction of enemies in real time on the mini-map to all teammates.. The Blackbird is an SR-71 jet, acting as a high-level radar, and the only form of air support or kill streak reward in "Black Ops" that cannot be destroyed by the enemies for its entire duration. It shows the enemies as red arrows moving in real-time, similarly to how a player would view his teammates in multi-player. The SR-71 is a very selfless kill streak reward, as it gives the entire team an overwhelming advantage. It is best used in kill-oriented games such as Team DeathMatch rather than objective games, although it very powerful in both.
This seven kill streak reward bears a slight similarity to the Predator Missile in "Modern Warfare 2". Upon getting seven kills, the proud owner throws a marker on the ground, and a package is dropped carrying two what? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
Valkyrie Rockets. The Valkyrie Rockets can be fired from the shoulder into the sky, and then back down at enemies, who will be marked with Red Squares, unless using "Ghost Pro". They will explode at the launcher's will, or after collision with any walls or rooftops. The player has two chances to get as many kills as possible with the rockets, but if he is killed after using only one, the second is not available. Since this is a user-controlled kill streak reward like the RC-XD, it will leave the player vulnerable.
The Highest kill streak where a reward is given is eleven. A player skilled and lucky enough to achieve this feat has two great rewards to choose from. One is piloting an attack "Gunship"; what's the other? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
Attack Dogs. Many who do not play "Black Ops" regularly might wonder "Dogs? - That's the best they can come up with?" I assure you these are no ordinary dogs. They attack in numbers and kill in one bite. They are fast and merciless and they are well worth an 11 Kill Streak. The dogs can be killed by knifing or bullets, but will continue to re-spawn until the time allotted for the Kill Streak Reward is over. Like the Chopper Gunner, Rolling Thunder, and Gunship, these beasts are best unleashed in a Ground-War match. Unfortunately, there are no attack tigers...yet.
Care Package. "Hardline Pro" allows the player to substitute his Care Package for another one if he does not like the result. Although this is a gamble, a player who receives ammo or a low kill streak reward has another chance. The pro perk will never send back the same type of kill streak reward, so an ammo crate will certainly be improved! Be aware that the time this consumes can be harmful as enemies can track down the player and steal the new Care Package.
The transition between "Modern Warfare 2" and "Black Ops" kept some fan favourite kill streak rewards almost exactly as they were before. How many kill streak rewards have the exact same name in both games? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
Four. These 4fourare the Care Package (Five Kill Streak instead of four), Sentry Gun (Six Kill Streak instead of five), Attack Helicopter (Seven Kill Streak in both games), and Chopper Gunner (Nine Kill Streak instead of eleven). The fact that the Chopper Gunner requires two less kills is misleading, as it is harder to call in in "Black Ops", because kills achieved from kill streak rewards do not add towards getting another. (In other words, all nine kills must come directly from the player, as opposed to "Modern Warfare 2", where getting a Predator Missile often leads to a Chopper Gunner. I'll stop talking now.)
Although there are some kill streak rewards that are completely new, some are very similar to their "Modern Warfare 2" counterparts. The eight Kill Streak Reward "Rolling Thunder" can be best linked to which "Modern Warfare 2" Kill Streak reward? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
Stealth Bomber. The "Rolling Thunder" kill streak reward, very similarly to the "Stealth Bomber" (a nine kill streak reward) is a B-52 carpet bombing airstrike that can easily achieve multi-kills. However, due to its large bombing radius the player must be careful, as a user can be killed by his own B-52. This kill streak reward is particularly effective in Ground-War gameplay, where the increased amount of players would allow for even heavier multi-kills.
A new kill streak reward in "Black Ops" is a small-remote controlled car booby-trapped with explosives, and this is also a three kill streak (or two with "Hardline"). What is it called? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
RC-XD. The Remote Control Explosive Device or RC-XD is a controllable kill streak in "Black Ops". It is relatively easy to drive and will explode at the players will. However, if the player does not detonate it in a given time period, it will self-destruct. The upsides of this kill streak reward is that it can kill more than one enemy at detonation, which is impressive for a low three kill streak; however, the main downside is that the user is vulnerable to death while controlling it.
Similar to the UAV in "Modern Warfare 2", this default kill streak reward requires three kills (or two with the "Hardline" Perk. What is it called in "Black Ops"? | Gorgeous "Black Ops" Kill Streak Rewards
|
Spy Plane. The Spy Plane in "Black Ops" is the first default kill streak reward. It displays the enemy as red dots on the mini-map but with a slight delay, except if they have the "Ghost" perk equipped. The Spy Plane can be shot down by the enemy and can be countered by the Counter Spy Plane the Reward for a four kill streak (or three with the Hardline Perk). The Spy-Plane is extremely useful in Free-for-All matches as an accessory to furthering one's kill streak.
Hardline. Hardline is a handy perk because it enables you to get your killstreaks one kill early. For example it is three kills to a spy plane, but with hardline it is only two kills. If hardline pro is enabled you have the ability to change the contents of your care package if you did not get a good item on your first time.
Gunship and Attack Dogs. Both of these killstreaks can be used at eleven kills and cost 6000 COD points to buy individually. The Gunship is similar to the Chopper Gunner but you can move the ship while in mid air. The attack dogs are a pack of dogs unleashed which kill enemies when they are seen.
250 COD points. Camouflages can be bought from any level unlike the other games and cost 250 points each. They can be basic ones such as dusty or can be prestige camos such as gold.
Ballistic Knife and the Crossbow. Both of these weapons are used in the wager match, sticks and stones. The crossbow is unlocked after the ballistic knife, but both are very useful weapons if your primary weapon runs out of ammo.
Eleven. Five pistols, four launchers excluding the Grim Reaper which can only be obtained in a care package and two specials. Secondary weapons are usually used when your primary weapon runs out of ammo and you do not have time to reload.
Commando. There is no final gun that you unlock. You only unlock the final gun of the type when all previous guns are purchased. Here are the final guns that can be unlocked of each type:
Assault Rifles: G11
Sub-machine guns: KIPARIS
Shotgun: HS10
Light machine gun: Stoner63
Sniper rifle: PSG1
RPK. The odd one out is the RPK because it is a light machine gun whereas all of the others are not. The SPAS-12, Stakeout and the Olympia are all shotguns and this means that these are a different type of gun to the RPK making it the odd one out.
One. The attachment is a suppressor. SPAS 12 featured in "Modern Warfare 2" but with a pump action. The SPAS 12 is a shotgun and the suppressor decreases the range significantly.
499. A Death Machine is a machine gun which is only available in a care package. It has very little grip. The only down side is that you cannot sprint or become prone. The other killstreak that is only available via a care package is the Grim Reaper. Ammo doesn't count as a killstreak.
30,000. 30,000 points is 300 kills in Team Deathmatch and an astonishing 600 kills in Free-For-All. This is best achieved in Combat Training on recruit level as it is easy to get kills.
50,000. You have to prestige at least one and also have 50,000 COD points to spend. COD points are unlocked by winning wager matches and leveling up. You don't earn them by completing challenges. Another popular way to earn the in game currency is to fulfill contracts.
Operation 40. The bar the campaign starts out in is featured in the map. Also, the street is lined with police cars which could be because of the fact that Woods and Mason got away.
Two. When you are in a private map and you are choosing the map, the size is shown at the bottom. If your wondering, the maps are Firing Range and Nuketown. They are great for one-on-ones as you don't spend ages looking for one another.
