Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
|A masterpiece of a pistol returned, also in a weak way, to "Call of Duty Black Ops 2" from "Modern Warfare 3". What was it?||Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
FN Five Seven. The Five Seven is a semi automatic pistol invented by FN Herschel. It is ranked as the lowest pistol in the game, whereas in "Modern Warfare 3" it was ranked as the highest. It is well known for it's high rate of fire along with it's massive clip sizes.
Select Fire. Select Fire is an attachment that allows you to choose between fully automatic fire, and three-round burst (if you're on an automatic) or between semi automatic and fully automatic (if you're using a semi automatic). Note, this attachment is only available on assault rifles.
Ability to choose your weapon loadout. Contrary to popular belief, there is no ability to decide your own fate, as everything is laid out for you. However, you may choose your weapon loadout before a mission. For instance, in the starting mission, your original loadout is an FAL with a Browning HP pistol. You may choose between the Browning HP and an AK47 select fire, allowing for more versatility in missions.
Upgraded damage. This upgrade makes the Olympia far more useful, allowing one-shot kills until level 7, whereas before it was level 5. The Olympia is a 16 gauged double barreled shotgun that you receive with 38 total rounds at a price of 500 points (250 for ammo).
All of these (The guns on the wall and the gun you start with are the exact same in both games, Doors must be bought to be accessible, There is a revive soda in single player capable of reviving you if you are downed). Yes, it is true, you start every game off with a Colt M1911 .45 pistol, and the starting room has a buyable Olympia and a buyable M14 for 500 points each. And of course, you must buy the doors in order to access other areas, such as the bus stop where you can go through the perilous dust storm full of zombie mutants. Also, the revive soda is available in single player mode from the very beginning for 500 points, and it proves worthy, as it revives you if you are downed, and gives temporary usage of a Mustang and Sally.
|Tank Dempsey may not have returned to "Black Ops 2", yet a descendent of his has been shown. What is this person's name?||Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Jennifer Dempsey. Jennifer Dempsey is Tank Dempsey's daughter. She seems to be a chip off the old block, taunting zombie kills and dramatizing the magnitude of their death, just like Tank. Jennifer, from the voice and appearance, could be assumed to be about 16 or 17 years old.
XM8. The M4A1 was never rumored to make a reappearance from "Modern Warfare 3". On the preview, it appeared that Sgt Frank Woods was holding an XM8, but the gun never appeared in multiplayer, zombies, or campaign mode.
Criss Vector. The Vector was in "Modern Warfare 2" as one of the best SMGs in the game. It comes amongst elites in "Black Ops 2" but Treyarch, for reasons unknown, falsely increased the kick and recoil to an uncomfortable level, making it the third-worst SMG in the game. (Just giving my opinion, this is the SMG of my choice, despite the added recoil and kick).
MP7. The MP7 is the worst Multiplayer SMG in the game, although this is bittersweet, as it joins a list of elite SMGs. It still has no kick or recoil like its "Modern Warfare 3" counterpart, yet lack of damage makes it the worst SMG in multiplayer.
It has no kick. The Uzi has lost all the kick that made it a cellar dwellar in "Black Ops". This makes the Uzi a much more efficient long range option while still maintaining close dominance. It is only in campaign mode and does not return to multiplayer.
It can finally free fire. The FIM-92 Stinger weighs 45 1/2 pounds, so it would be near impossible to dual wield it, and it would be impossible to dual wield it efficiently. Yes, the FIM-92 Stinger can be fired if you set it. It can free fire or fire aircraft only by your choice.
Crossbow. No, the AK74U sadly does not reappear in multiplayer mode, as it has been replaced in the future. Same for the Famas, as it has been quite outdone by other weapons such as the M8A1 and the M27. The Crossbow returns from "Black Ops", only this time, it has 3 round clips, as opposed to the Crossbow of the 1st installment was break action.
No. The pistol returning from "Modern Warfare 3" would be the Five Seven. It is the best semi automatic pistol in the game. It has five different "nicknames", the Five Seven, the Service Pistol, the Airplane Pistol, the Receptionist's Pistol, and the Marketplace Robber. It receives these nicknames based on its many uses. For instance, it is named the Airplane Pistol because it is the typical handgun that a pilot on a plane might hold incase an attempted plane hijacking occurred.
M1216 . The M1216 is quite unique. It fires 12 gauge shotgun shells, with a decent range for a shotgun and a high damage, pairing it with an excellent fire rate. It is available in Multiplayer at level 52.
No. The Executioner pistol is a very unique pistol. It fires 28 gauge shells, and is the only pistol in existence to fire shotgun shells. It has typical 6 round revolver clips, with a manual placing of the shells into the pistol upon reloading.
All of these (Kick, Damage, Efficiency from an added range). The MP7 has many differences between the two games listed. The MP7's kick is actually existent in "Black Ops 2", whereas it was non existent in "Modern Warfare 3", as this was one of the main reasons it was the best SMG in "Modern Warfare 3". Damage, a hinderance in "Modern Warfare 3" has actually been corrected greatly in "Black Ops 2", as the DPB (Damage per Bullet) has been nearly tripled. The efficiency from long range has been increased, contrary to kick incorporation, because the damage upgrade is enough to increase the MP7's versatility from long range.
KAP 40. The TAC 45 is not available at any point in the campaign mode. The 823R and Five Seven are mainly used by the enemy Cubans (you can still select either or both of them when customizing your weapon loadout), so you don't use either of them. The KAP 40 is frequently used throughout the campaign as the standard edition American pistol.

Data Glove Paired. The Data Glove Paired is first found in the Fallen Angel mission, several after the Celerium mission. During the Celerium mission, the Nano Gloves are used to climb a steep cliff, the Squirrel Suit is used to get to the temple, and Optical Camouflage allows the player that finds it to blend with their background.

|In the mission where you have to capture Menendez, playing as Farid, if you choose not to kill Menendez with the Five Seven, who do you end up killing?||"Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" Campaign
Harper. Harper enters the ares shouting obscenities at you and Menendez, as Menendez tosses you a Five Seven, commanding that you kill Harper. However, clicking the option to kill Menendez may trigger other opportunities. If you select kill Harper, well, that's pretty self explanatory, as you kill Harper with the Five Seven.

Chloe. You only play this mission if you failed to save Chloe, also known as Karma, in the mission "Karma". If you fail to save Chloe or she dies later in the campaign and you choose not to kill Menendez, he escapes at the end of the campaign and kills Woods. If she survives to the end of the campaign, she decodes the Celerium Worm and Menendez stays in prison.

Spider. Ziggy, a device which can fit in the palm of Mason's hand, was used to gather intel from Colossus. David was able to scan several areas and determine where bombs were being deployed, as well as disable a guard.

Operation 40. On this level, you are introduced to the characters and learn the basic commands that will help you progress in the game. When the police walk through a local bar, the game begins. The missions "Project Nova" and "Rebirth" are both from "Call of Duty: Black Ops" the first installment.

Makarov. The Makarov was voted in the "Black Ops 2" official first month poll as the least popular pistol in all of campaign mode as it never really sees a role in the campaign. The Makarov is a Russian semi automatic pistol of which its value has deteriorated greatly from "Black Ops", losing clip size, stability, and compactness.

Woods. Weaver does not reappear in "Black Ops 2". Mason is shot in the head by accident when Woods shoots him with a Barrett M82A1, thinking Mason is their long sought out target, Raul Menendez. Hudson is killed shortly after when Menendez captures Woods and Hudson, as Menendez blows off Hudson's knees with a SPAS 12 (as he did to Woods) before proceeding to slit Hudson's throat. Woods, however, survives, but is impaired for the rest of his life, having had his knees blown out.
