Stabber. The Vagabond is the fastest cruiser in the game, built off the incredibly fast Stabber hull. It lacks firepower, but is capable of a mean speed tank.

Brutix. Brutixes (or Brutices?) are Gallente ships, and receive bonuses to blasters. Fitted with a microwarpdrive, it can get up close and personal very quickly, but, as the microwarpdrive destroys your capacitor, as do blasters, if your capacitor dies, you're dead in the vacuum.

Revelation. If you know the ships of "EVE", you would notice the choices are all Dreadnoughts. Yes, that's right, Dreadnoughts. Chribba flies a Amarrian Dreadnought, that's the Revelation, for mining purposes. Again, yes, one of the most powerful ships in the game is being used to mine. Which is incredibly hilarious and awesome at the same time.
He also flies an Avatar, the Veldatar, solely for mining more veldspar.

Dominix Navy Issue. The Dominix, the base hull for this ship, has the one of the largest drone bays in EVE, at 375m^3. The DNI one-ups the regular Dominix with a drone bay of 400m^3. It is a specialized drone boat, and from the Gallente faction, meaning that its drones are even better, since the Gallente are the most prolific drone users in game.
Scimitar. The Scimitar is the Minmatar Logistics ship. Based on the hull of the Scythe cruiser, it's great for broadcasting tracking data to a fleet and decent at rebuilding people's shields.
Unfortunately, like all Logistics ships, the Scimitar is often primaried in PVP. Which means you're one of the first to die (order of death probably goes something like: Falcons/Rooks, Scorpions/Widows, Blackbirds, Kitsunes, Griffins, then any and all logistics ships).
marauder . Marauders have half the weapons hardpoints from their regular Tech 1 counterparts, but they also get a 100% bonus to damage from those weapons. In essence, you have less guns that are twice as powerful. For a ship like the Megathron, seven guns do not compare with 8x2 guns. Marauders also get a 100% bonus to tractor beam range (20km to 40km). Their only weakness is low sensors, meaning that they are easily jammed.
Just as a side note: the Tempest becomes the Vargur, the Megathron becomes the Kronos, the Raven becomes the Golem, and the Apocalypse becomes the Paladin.
Harpy. The Harpy starts out with a 10% bonus to optimal from each level of Caldari frigate you have. Since you need Caldari Frigate 5 to actually get into a Harpy, you start out with 50%. The levels of Assault Ships give you another 10% per level. The only ship with any sort of bonus to optimal is the Enyo, which only gets a maximum of a 50% increase (does not compare at all to the Harpy).

Megathron. None of the other ships have the ability to fit more than six turrets, except the Raven, which can only fit four, and is a missile ship anyways. But I digress. The Megathron has bonuses to the all-powerful, high DPS blasters. It can also be used as a sniper. It moves rather quickly and is capable of a mean armor tank.
The Megathron was actually the first ship that brought me into "EVE Online". It looked so cool, so I joined up.

Machariel. The Machariel is an Angel Cartel faction ship, and is also the fastest of all T1 battleships. Additionally, it is the largest battleship in the game, at around 1km in length.

cyclone. The Cyclone is my favorite ship. It's nice, fast, and looks pretty cool. It gets a 7.5% bonus to shield boost amount per skill level of Battlecruisers, meaning that it's active shield tank, when coupled with shield boost amplifiers, is extraordinarily powerful.
