Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information

    Excite Truck

How many players does Versus mode support?Super "Excite Truck"!

Two. Unlike "Mario Kart", you can only play with one other person. You get to pick any of the courses you've completed and use any truck you've unlocked so it's basically like Excite Racing, only four trucks are gone.

How do you unlock Super Excite Mode?Super "Excite Truck"!

Getting S's in all the Excite courses. After completing the Platinum cup in Excite and not having S's in all the courses, you just get a message saying that you need to get an S on all the courses to unlock Super Excite. So you get to go back and redo all the courses if you didn't get an S on them in the first place.

The Platinum Canada course in Excite mode requires you to get how many stars to pass?Super "Excite Truck"!

      220. There are only two laps in this course and you may be wondering how you can possibly earn that many stars with only two laps, but the laps are LONG. Plus there are a few pow icons that will let you drive through the trees near you to get a SUPER TREE RUN!

Which truck is unlocked first?Super "Excite Truck"!

Summit. After completing the bronze cup the Summit is unlocked. Although it is unlocked first you may need it in the later courses.

How many different cups are there in Excite Mode?Super "Excite Truck"!

4 . The four cups are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. All of them have five courses in them that you must clear except for the Bronze which only has four.

Versus mode lets you race against another human being instead of computer-controlled trucks. How does the screen split?Wii "Excite Truck" - General Knowledge

Vertically; the line goes up and down. It is an unusual feature that only two people can race each other in "Excite Truck". A vertical screen split is also unusual for a racing game, but it helps to see your path when you're high in the air. Unfortunately, if one player finishes the race in versus mode, the other is only given ten seconds to finish.

Playing ten races or achieving three "S" ranks with any one truck will unlock what feature for that truck?Wii "Excite Truck" - General Knowledge

New paint job. You can get a new "paint job" for each truck after using it often enough, and switch between both the new and the original one whenever you want. For most trucks it is truly just a different pattern, but for the Wolf the entire back is replaced.

What is the maximum number of stars you can achieve for most tricks ("Air" and "Tree Run" for example)?Wii "Excite Truck" - General Knowledge

Five. With most types of tricks, you gain stars up to five based on the length of time for which you can keep it up. "Nice Crash", on the other hand, only ever awards you one star.

What is the requirement for "passing" a track?Wii "Excite Truck" - General Knowledge

Gaining enough stars. Though you may gain stars depending on how well you place in the finishing, the truth is you don't need to come first to win a course. Your ranking depends on stars, but of course, the stars you gain from finishing first or even second are always a big help to gaining the required amount.

"Excite Truck" is a sequel to what game that was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System?Wii "Excite Truck" - General Knowledge

"Excitebike". "Excitebike" was released in 1984 for the NES, but several re-releases have been present on other systems, including the Gameboy Advance and the Wii Virtual Console. It also had one other sequel before "Excite Truck", for the Nintendo 64: "Excitebike 64".
