 Fatal Frame
All of these (The realm of the dead, The Spirit World, Hell itself). Once in a while, the Crimson Sacrifice is performed to appease the darkness within the Abyss. Whenever there are no twins to perform the ritual, they use Kusabi, which are outsiders who are tortured and thrown in the Abyss. One day, Yae and Sae tried to run so the ritual wouldn't happen but Sae was captured. The people tried to perform the ritual without Yae and it totally failed. The darkness within the Abyss erupted out and killed everyone in the village and covered the village in perpetual darkness. Whatever difficulty you are in (any difficulty higher than hard have the Good Ending while Normal to Hard have the Bad Ending), if you do not leave the village, and get to the Abyss, the Darkness will end. To figure out how, you must beat the game yourself to find out the endings.

Points. In the store, you can purchase extra feature like mini-games, special outfits, and items to help you on your quest back to the Lost Village. You can also buy Type 90 and Type Zero film.
Saves your life when your life bar reaches zero. Although it saves you from most ghosts you encounter in the Lost Village, there are two ghosts that can kill you instantly and even the Stone Mirror won't help you with them. They are: Rope Man (Final Boss), and Sae.
Spirit Orbs and points. You get Spirit Orbs and points from the ghosts you capture. However, the points you gets from a ghost vary depending on the damage you give them.
| Besides your weapon to fight ghosts, you can also get an item that lets you hears the voices of spirits through crystals that hold the voices. What is this item? | Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly

Spirit Radio. The crystals were worn by the spirits and holds their thoughts. With the Spirit Radio, you can unlock those thoughts. You can also hear Mayu's thoughts when you get her charm.
Note: I would suggest you have subtitles on when you listen to the voices because of white noise.
A woman who kills her twin sister for the Crimson Sacrifice. The way the sister kills the other is by strangulation. After that, the living sister becomes the Shrine Maiden.
camera. The camera has the ability to take pictures of supernatural things. It also has exorcismal power that harms the ghosts and evil spirits.
Mio. The game begins when Mio's sister, Mayu chases a crimson butterfly. When Mio catches up to Mayu, they end up in All God's Village A.K.A. the Lost Village.

Children playing tag. The fact that they died playing tag must be the reason they want you to play. They attack in a threesome when you fight them.

Kusabi. The Kusabi was a visiting folklorist who came with his assistant. Unfortunately for him, the ritual was to take place soon. When the ritual failed, he and Sae went ona murderous rampage, killing everyone in the village in the form of darkness. He has the same ability to kill as Sae does.
Mourner. The eyes of the mourners were sewn shut so that they didn't look into the Hellish Abyss when throwing in the twin that died in the ritual. You need to be careful fighting them because they operate on sound and running catches their attention.

Hidden man. Unfortunately, the doll looked just like his daughter's twin. It took on her soul and when the doll maker tried to destroy it, he failed. If you selected Doll Maker, notice that it says "vanishing ghost" as well

Calling man. The calling man's name is Ryokan Kurosawa. Yae and Sae are his daughters. He calls to Mio and Mayu thinking they are Yae and Sae. If you didn't notice and picked Ceremony Master, the clue states "vanishing ghost"

Crimson Kimono. She was hiding when the ritual failed and darkness took the village. She cries a lot, which kinda makes you feel sorry for her...especially when you fight her. Her real name is Chitose.

Veiled priest. The teleportation that the veiled priests do can probably get on your nerves. They usually appear in the Kurosawa house, but can appear in other places as well.
Seeker. About halfway through he game the villagers come after you. They are trying to get you and your sister to perform the ritual. They appear almost anywhere outside of the houses, and once in the Tachibana house.

Sae. Sae's sister Yae refused to kill her in the ritual. They ran away together, but Sae tripped and Yae left her behind. If you touch Sae, you die instantly, unless if you have a stone mirror.
Woman in box. The woman in box is one of the first ghosts in the game. She does, however, like to come out of nowhere from time to time...Like from a well...Remind anyone of a certain movie?
