 Jak X: Combat Racing
Telling a story. True to form, Daxter is telling a story about how he and Jak foiled some opposing racers. Of course, the little orange dude makes himself out to be more heroic than he really is...
Rushing to save Daxter. As you find out towards the end of this sequence, Daxter has once again gotten himself into more trouble than he realizes. Bragging about working for Krew will do that... Anyway, this part of the cinematic appears at first to be a flashback but is really going on at the time Daxter is telling his story.
Edje and Shiv. Edje is the guy with the brown racing helmet, and Shiv is the red-head. Razer does walk in shortly after the opening cutscene starts, but he isn't the first.
Sandshark. This vehicle is easily recognizable, as it's also the car Jak drives during the opening sequence. The thugs that chase Jak in the opening drive Naughty Dogs, if you look closely enough at the body type of the cars. The Road Blade and Basher are, however, the first vehicles Jak gets to use competitively.
28. This is one of those little nit-picky details the can be uncovered while trying to choose a racer for exhibition mode. Although most of the text for the character bios isn't understandable, the characters' ages, heights and weights are discernable. Evidently, Sig stands at a towering 6'6" and weighs 270 pounds.
6'2". Just like Sig's age, this tidbit can be found by paying very close attention to character stats. This character in particular also weighs 162 pounds and is 31 years old.
He's wearing pants. At the end of "Jak 3", Daxter could have had anything he ever wanted. For example, he could have become an elf again. However, instead of anything, he asked for pants.
Thirteen. You start off with only being able to play Jak, Torn, Ashelin, Cutter, Edje and Shiv. As you progress farther, you can unlock UR-86, Sig, Kliever, Rayn, Razer, Keira and G.T. Blitz. Pecker, Daxter, the Jaks from "Jak 2" and "Jak 3" and Ratchet are characters you need to buy or scan for.
Black Shade. According to Ashelin, Black Shade was a deadly plant that was found in the wasteland. Krew hid some in the wine, but not all of the wine was poisoned.
UR-86. UR-86 is unlocked in the very first cup. Sig is as well, but not until later. Rayn and Kliever are unlocked later.
"That's it! Who's his agent? Pecker always gets the sweet gigs in these adventures!". Daxter is very annoyed about this, but Pecker is always getting the good positions while they have adventures. In "Jak 2", he is with Onin who doesn't have to get in danger. In "Jak 3", he is with Damas in the wasteland.
The Bloody Hook. Right before the red cups's first qualifier, Jak goes to confront Razer, who welcomes them to the bar, which he says the name of. However, it never says the name anywhere else.
To kill as many enemies as possible under a time limit. For death races, tons of little green cars will be driving around the track. You have to kill as many as you can in the time limit. Whatever lap you're on is the number of points you'll get for each kill.
To get to the end with the least time possible. To get to the end with a small time, you need to slow down time with the freeze tokens. Depending on the number on them, they will stop time for a certain amount of seconds. It is best to combine tokens by hitting them while others are still in effect.
To kill the most creatures. In sport hunts, whatever you have to kill is running around. You have to kill the most of them in order to win.
Blitz. Although he never admits this, everyone says what was used to sabotage Jak's was the exact same used to kill Blitz's father. Blitz does later admit to killing his father.
Jak, Keira, UR-86, Kliever, Razer and Blitz. You have to race against all the enemies and Keira, who is only in this race. If you get first, you have to fight Mizo.
Blitz. Blitz is getting really mad for losing, and takes off his wig to reveal that he's Mizo. Pecker then rides a camera and shows his entire plan on live TV. He then gets mad and steals the poison antidote.
Rayn. Rayn says that she had the antidote the entire time throughout the adventure, then Mizo comes and takes it. After that, you have to blow him up with your car.
Mizo. "Jak 2" has four bosses: Praxis, Praxis, Krew and Kor. "Jak 3" has three: the Precursor robot, Errol and the terraformer. "Jak and Daxter" has two: Klaww and Gol and Maia, while and "Jak X" has one: Mizo.
"You have a habit of leaving people to die, don't you?". Mizo/Blitz: "You have a habit of leaving people to die, don't you?"
Jak: "You get used to it."
Then after Jak walked away, the flaming car wreckage Mizo was trapped in exploded.
Jak and Keira. Daxter, who was the one who interrupts them, is the one who actually tells the two to kiss. He must have been getting impatient.
Rayn. Rayn left behind Krew's diary after she left so that they would actually know that she had only pretended to be poisoned. However, when they found out, she was long gone, driving away while arranging meetings.
19. Despite the fact that he frequently visits Kras City's bar, the "Bloody Hook", Jak is not yet legal drinking age. Further investigation reveals that he was a tender fifteen when "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" was made.
5'10". Jak's height would be considered normal by our standards, though he does seem quite a bit shorter than several of his adversaries. This detail is particularly noticeable in certain cutscenes where he has close encounters with his enemies, and we see that Jak is usually only chin-high to fellows like Kleiver and Razer.
5'6". Much like Jak, Keira's height really comes into perspective when she stands close to other characters who are taller then she is. She is, after all, one of the shortest characters in th game.
24. Ashelin is the oldest female character in the game, but she is also the tallest. After all, she stands at a WNBA-qualifying 6 feet tall. The runner-up for tallest female character is Rayn, who stands at 5'8."
19. That's right, the furry little "orange lightening" that people have come to know and love is about the same age as his good buddy Jak. After all, they have been hanging out since the good old days of gathering precursor orbs and such...
6'4". This aspect of Kleiver's physique can be best seen during the cutscene in which he challenges Jak to a race through the City Outskirts. During this scene, you can see that Jak only stands about chin-high to his hefty foe.
270 lbs. Sig may tip the scales, but he is also 6'6," and certainly isn't lacking in muscle mass. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat! Anyway, these two factors make Sig heavy without necessarily being fat.
31. It really comes as no surprise that Razer is 12 years older than Jak, as he is considered to be one of the game's many veteran drivers. Yet despite his age, Razer still threatens Jak on a pretty regular basis.
