Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
LOTR: The Third Age
Characters heal between battles. Most people play with Sauron Mode off which is smart. You could get yourself into a lot of trouble if you lose all of you comanders early in the game.
Characters don't heal between battles. If you are looking for a challage you should play Sauron Mode. I would only try it after you have already beaten the game.
1-3. Like most people the Mouth of Sauron because it has a 1-3 command point per turn stat. If you like odd names and odd characters this is the man for you.
1-4. Aragorn has a great command point stat because he always has at least one command point per turn and he can have up to 4 per turn. Aragorn is a good person to choose if you like hand to hand combat with the option of long range weapons.
1-3. Gandalf is a better choice then Saruman because he has at least one command point per turn and he has more life. If you are Good and you like magic you should choose Gandolf because he is a Wizard.
1-3. Saruman is a good choice for an Evil commander because he always has at least one command point per turn. If you are evil and like magic you should be Saruman because magic has the same range as arrows and do more damage than they do.
1-3. Elrond is a good choice because he always has at least one command point per turn. If you like archery then you should choose Elrond as your commander because, he is an Elf and has a very long range.
Saruman, Witch-King, Mouth of Sauron. The Evil side is for people who like to stick it to the good guys. If you like the evil side I think you should try out "GoldenEye: Rouge Agent" for the Nintendo GameCube.
0-3. Command points make the world go around because they let you move. The Witch-King is a bit of a gamble because he does not have at least one command point every turn.
Aragorn, Gandalf, Elrond. The Good side is for people who like to be heroes from movies. If you like the good side I think you should play the other "Lord of the Rings" games.
Sauron. They are right beside the Eye on top of the tower. The different moves that The Eye uses are pretty powerful if you haven't used your stat upgrades. Thanks for playing my quiz!
Gandalf. He falls after the battle and returns later in the game. You get to play as the others later in the game as well.
Weeping Blade. The Biting Blade sucks health and the other two I made up. The Weeping Blade Damages 500 HP per turn.
Six. There's Berethor, Idrial, Elegost, Hadhod, Morwen, and Eaoden. You can tell how strong Eaoden is after playing Evil Mode.
Ten. There are ten different chapters. Each one has a different enemy. I have always enjoyed the fact that the game is long!
Elegost. He is pretending to be dead to hunt some Wargs. He then kills them. It is a good way to represent the fact that looks may be deceiving.
No. Although later in the game, you are able to take down many. They are immune at the beginning. Although some say that it isn't a good way to start the game, I always enjoy it.
four. There are four mortals: Berethor, Morwen, Elegost and Eaoden. Idrial is an elf and Hadhod is a Dwarf.
six. These are Berethor, Idrial, Elegost, Hadhod, Morwen and Eaoden. You do meet other characters that join you for a short while. Gandalf, Aragorn and Legolas are some of the other characters that you fight with.
Hadhod. Berethor is the Citadel Guard of Gondor, Morwen is of the Penmark, and Idrial is of Lothlorien. The other two are Elegost of the Dunedain and Eoden of the Riddermark
Morwen. Morwen was almost killed by a Nazguls, but Berethor, Idrial, Eaoden, Elegost, Gimli and Aragorn destroyed the Nazguls. Aragorn healed Morwen.
Eregion and Rohan. You shall not find them anywhere else. The wildmen are used by Saruman to wreck havoc in villages.
Haldir. Haldir is an elf that actully dies at Helms Deep. You can never win or fight with Arwen or Galadriel, but you do fight alongside Legolas.
Eaoden. Only Eaoden can use a spear. He can do lot of damage with his spear and he can also suck health with it. He can learn 22 different strikes.
nine. You have to kill nine trolls of Moria. Two last trolls appear at the end of the Eastern Moria chapter, right before Balrog. Most of the trolls are normal Cave trolls, but there is at least one Drummer troll.
Sauron. The eye of Sauron is the final boss. Balrog is the first big boss and he appears at the end of the Eastern Moria chapter. You have to fight with Witchking few times during the game, but you don't have to fight with Gollum.
no. No, you can't. You can only talk with him at Helm's Deep. But you can play with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli.
Journey to the Elf Outpost. The first quest is to follow the female Elf to an outpost defended by Rivendell Elves. There you will find equipment and potions to heal your wounds. Your next quest is "Defend the Elf Caravan."
yes. Yes, you can co-operate. It can be switch on and off during the game. Player 1 controls: Berethor, Elegost, Morwen and Player 2 controls: Hadhod, Idrial, Eaoden.
yes. Eregion really is the first chapter in the game. It's a large area that lies near Rivendell. At the end of the Eregion chapter you have to beat Watcher in the Water.
Eaoden. Eaoden joins to your party at the end of the Rohan/Edoras chapter. He is powerful both physically and magically, being able to use his spear to deal damage by ignoring armor, and to suck the health right out of enemies.
