Medal of Honor Trivia Questions

From Quiz
Do You Know "Medal of Honor Frontline"?

Answer: Patterson

Colonel Hargrove gives the briefings in the game, Jacques died in the second, and Manon is playable in the second as the main character. However, in the second one there is a secret level where you play as Patterson.

2. In the "Pearl Harbour" level, what does Gunny shout at Spinelli?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" (PS2)

Answer: "Spinelli, fix that thing!"

Once the gunboat is hit by the Japanese bomb, the radio goes haywire picking up Japanese radio conversations. Eventually it's fixed and off you go again.

3. In the first level, 'Operation Chariot', you arrive at St. Nazaire on a boat. What is the name of this boat?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault" France Campaign

Answer: HMS Cambletown

The SS Bismark was a dreaded Nazi battleship that was never mentioned in the game. The USS Enterprise is a US aircraft carrier, and the HMS Liberty was a British destroyer stationed in the Philippines.

4. Both of the North Africa campaigns are set in the same country. What country are they in?

From Quiz Z.Y. Whigham's "Medal of Honor" Quiz

Answer: Tunisia

Egypt didn't have any military battles fought in it, Libya was the site of the last few battles in North Africa and Morocco wasn't really affected at all. Egypt actually did have a few Nazi headquarters within it.

5. The very first level is set at a Nazi port in France. What is the name of the port?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault"

Answer: St. Nazaire

St. Nazaire was the site of the British spearhead. Come du Mont and Laurre de Gaulle were two towns in France where the Airborne did a lot of fighting. St. Nezine is just plain made up.

6. In the level "Day of Infamy", when you reach "Topside", you are handed a gun. The name of the gun has three initials. What do the initials stand for?

From Quiz Medal of Honor: Rising Sun #2

If you didn't know already, you are handed a B.A.R.

7. What is Joseph Griffin's hometown?

From Quiz Medal of Honor: Rising Sun Characters

You can get on a mounted machine gun and use that to shoot down the Japanese planes (recommended).

10. In "Midnight Raid at Guadalcanal", what happens to the soldier who dies on the boat?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" (PS2)

Answer: He is eaten by a crocodile

He stares at Griffin and says "There's something in the water" before a crocodile grabs him. This scene is quite dramatic.

11. During 'Operation Chariot', you must find a lost radioman to call in an air strike. Who is the radioman?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault" France Campaign

Answer: Captain Beck

Beck is listed on the objectives list and your commander even tells you his name before you go off to find him. For a radioman, Beck is very combative and is sometimes found charging ahead of you to charge to Nazis. Captain Beck is also a real character in real life; he helped call in vital bombings in St. Nazaire.

12. In the second level in St. Nazaire, France, one of your objectives is to take out the shore gun. As you are running towards the gun, one of the other soldiers makes a comment. What did he say?

From Quiz Z.Y. Whigham's "Medal of Honor" Quiz

Answer: "If we don't hurry up, we'll be walking home!"

The soldier was referring to the fact that the gun was eating up any ship that sailed by and if it kept it up, they would run out of ships. Surprisingly enough, even though St. Nazaire is right on the ocean, the port only had a few shore guns.

13. In the very first level set in North Africa, you are sent out with soldiers of the SAS to sabotage new German tanks. What type of tanks were they?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault"

Answer: Tiger

Although they were not used hardly at all in North Africa, the Tiger tank saw a lot of action in the European theater. The King Tiger and Jagdpanther were hardly ever seen during the war, and the Panzer IV was the workhorse of the German war machine.

18. What officer do you have to eliminate on the last level?

From Quiz Do You Know "Medal of Honor Frontline"?

Answer: Sturmgeist

Both Shima and Kandler are on the game "Medal Of Honor Rising Sun", with Kandler being an officer whom you ambush and steal his clothes in the level Singapore Sling, and Shima being a high ranking Japanese man who you never kill, but gets away with your brother held hostage. He is the main enemy of "Medal Of Honor Rising Sun". Sturmgeist is the man who you track all through the game until finally killing him. While Hitler is mentioned in the game, he is only seen in a few videos.

19. In "Singapore Sling", which government service does Phillip Bromley say he works for?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" (PS2)

Answer: S.O.E.

He says, very quickly, "Phillip Bromley, SOE." It's quite hard to pick up unless you have the subtitles on.

20. During the second level, 'Raid on St. Nazaire', you must fight a German officer to obtain some documents. Who was the German officer?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault" France Campaign

Answer: Klaus Mueller

Klaus Mueller was the officer you had to do battle down in the bunker. Fritz and Otto are made up, but Klaus Habershimer is actually the name of the Dutch assassin in the 007 movie, "Diamonds are Forever".

21. On the very first level in St. Nazaire, France, one of your objectives is to find the radioman to call in an airstrike. When the bombers come, what country do they represent?

From Quiz Z.Y. Whigham's "Medal of Honor" Quiz

Answer: Great Britain

You are with the British, so naturally British bombers come. US bombers didn't appear on secret missions until later on. Russia didn't have bombers then, and Germany certainly wouldn't help the British.

22. In the second level during the North Africa campaign you are once again accompanied by SAS commandos to destroy a V-2 rocket facility. Who was the creator of the dreaded V-2 rocket?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault"

From Quiz Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

26. The pistol known as the Walther is a weapon carried by German Officers in the game. What are the three letters following the word Walther?

From Quiz Do You Know "Medal of Honor Frontline"?

Answer: P38

The STG is a very rare German Sub machine gun on this game, because it is only found in two levels. The .45 is a standard issue pistol that the U.S Military uses. The BAR stands for the Browning Automatic Rifle.

27. In "Singapore Sling", which year does Bromley say he came to Singapore?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" (PS2)

Answer: 1932

He says "Arrived in '32, went underground when the bleedin' Japs took over". This is also hard to pick up unless you have subtitles on.

28. One of your objectives in the second level is to destroy the shore gun. How many men were operating this gun?

From Quiz "Medal of Honor: European Assault" France Campaign

Answer: Two

One was there to load and one fired it. You can stay back and pick the men off from a safe distance, but if you get too close they will take cover behind the gun and pin you down.

29. In the very first level in Russia you start off with two very nice guns. What were the guns?

From Quiz Z.Y. Whigham's "Medal of Honor" Quiz

The STG44 was the German assault rifle and was loved by both sides, but it couldn't beat the PPSH with its 71 round drum. The Mosin Nagant was a five shot rifle and the DP-28 was a light machine gun that held 47 rounds.
