to get Elly back. Elly had been trapped inside Deus, and moved him away so his self-destruction wouldn't blow up the world. However, Fei wouldn't have any of that and quickly followed, though his gear was low on fuel. As for the ending...it certainly was a worthwhile one!

No. Fei and Citan have to go to Dazil to get a sand buggy to get through all the sandy soil between Dazil and Bledavik. The buggy costs you nothing.

Lamb. Fei is called a Lamb by the mysterious visitor named Elhaym Van Houten, a lieutenant in the Solarian army. It's interesting that Elly is a lieutenant at the age of 18.

Bledavik. Fatima Castle is located in the capital of Aveh, Bledavik. Dazil is a town southeast of Bledavik and Nortune is in Kislev territory.
Melchior. It is noted when visiting both Shevat and Melchior at his home that he helped mentor Krelian in the field of nanotechnology. This is also confirmed in the flashback scene in Nisan between Krelian and Lacan, where Krelian notes that he has become Melchior's pupil.
The resurrection of Deus. Miang exists essentially as the human incarnation of the Deus system. Her sole purpose is to manipulate history in order to bring about the resurrection of Deus. This is confirmed by Miang when she possesses Elly, as she notes that she is planning to restore Deus along with Krelian. This can also be seen in the game's final battle, as Fei battles Urobolus, the final incarnation of Miang, in order to destroy the Deus system once and for all and free the Wave Existence.
The Wave Existence. The Wave Existence is the true god of "Xenogears", as its essence had been captured within the body of Deus and was freed when Fei defeated the final incarnation of Miang and successfully destroyed Deus. The Deus system was fearful of the Wave Existence and thus sought to capture its essence in order to eliminate opposition to its goal. The Wave Existence is what Krelian follows via the Path of Sephirot in order to achieve his angelic status seen in the game's ending.
Rico. The game's storyline reveals that Rico is Kaiser Sigmund's son and is thus the rightful heir to the throne. This can be seen when Rico is able to enter a room in the Central District of Nortune that supposedly can only be entered by those with the Kaiser's blood.

The death of Sophia. This is also explained in one of the game's cutscenes, as Krelian becomes enraged that Sophia (the previous incarnation of Elly) sacrificed herself in order to defend the city of Nisan. He then lost his faith when he called out to god for answers and received no reply. Krelian loved Sophia dearly and her loss changed him permanently, as he sought to make god with his own hands so that human beings would never have to experience loss again.
Stone. Bishop Stone saved Billy and his sister Primera from the monsters that killed his mother when they were young. Hating his father for abandoning them, Billy strove to become just like Stone and help others who were unable to help themselves. This eventually changes when Stone reveals himself as Isaac Stein and initiates the slaughter of the Ethos members. Billy and his father work together to defeat Stein and make up afterwards.
Merkava. Krelian constructs the Ark of Merkava after taking Elly in exchange for sparing the rest of the party's lives. He constructs the ark for the purpose of furthering his intentions to resurrect Deus. Ezekiel is the name of Krelian's flying battleship, Zohar is the name given to the Zohar Modifier, and Elru is the name of the nation obliterated by Id several hundred years ago.
The Zohar Modifier. Miang informs the party that the Zohar Modifier is the power source for all Gears, as it contains some of the Wave Existence's power. After the Zohar Modifer is destroyed, all Gears cease to function except for Fei's Xenogear, which he uses to battle Deus and rescue Elly.
Kahran Ramsus. Ramsus is the artificial contact created by Krelian that was ultimately trashed when Fei, the real contact, was born. As a result of this rejection, Ramsus developed a massive inferiority complex and a deep-seeded hatred for Fei, whose existence he blames for all of his pain and suffering.
