John Bradshaw Layfield. These two had a huge rivalry going into "Wrestlemania". Cena seemed hopeless at the beginning of the match. Bradshaw pounded him with aggressive moves, but Cena bounced back with a "F-U" to win his first WWE Title.

Team Angle. Chris Benoit, John Cena, Bradshaw, Kurt Angle, and Hardcore Holly were all on Team Angle. Team Lesnar had Brock Lesnar, Big Show, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan, and the A-Train. The match ended with Cena surprisingly lifting The Big Show into an "F-U". John Cena and Chris Benoit were the only survivors.
Big Show. Cena put on a show for the troops in Iraq, as did the entire WWE. John Cena also defeated Show at "Wrestlemania XX".
Kurt Angle. Cena's debut in the WWE was on July 27, 2002. Angle underestimated Cena, but in the end Angle came out with the victory over Cena. John and Kurt had many matches after that, starting a rivalry.

Wrestlemania XXI. Cena defeated John "Bradshaw" Layfield with the "FU" to capture the title. This was the first "Wrestlemania" event that Cena headlined.
The FU. Cena has used the "FU" to defeat many opponents, however that isn't his only trademark move. He also uses the "STFU" and the "Five Knuckle Shuffle" to defeat opponents.
Batista. Cena made it down to the final two. He eliminated Kane, Viscera and Edge, the latter of which Batista helped him eliminate from the "Royal Rumble". This was Cena's third consecutive "Royal Rumble" appearance.
Big Show. Cena defeated The Big Show to capture his first WWE title. This match was the first time the WWE United States Championship had been defended at a "Wrestlemania".
West Newbury, Massachusetts. Cena was born on April 23, 1977 and raised in West Newbury, Massachusetts. He attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle had issued an open challenge which Cena accepted. Cena gave Angle a really tough match, even kicking out of the "Angle Slam", but did eventually loose the match via pinfall.

Under his brother's tutelage and his devotion of the wrestling team, Cal not only started to have a good win loss record, but his new love of wrestling reunited his family after 10 years.

Tables Match. In the final moments of the match, John Cena was attempting to superplex Sheamus onto a table. Suddenly, John Cena fell off the top turnbuckle and landed onto the table giving Sheamus the win and surprising the entire arena.
Attitude Adjustment. Due to the changing of the WWE into a family oriented product, WWE executives decided to rename John Cena's finisher since FU means something not so nice.
12 Rounds. In "12 Rounds," John Cena plays Danny Fisher, a police detective whose fiance is kidnapped by a criminal mastermind named Miles Jackson. In order for him to rescue his girlfriend, Fisher must complete twelve daring tasks Jackson throws at him hence the name, "12 Rounds."
Shawn Michaels. On January 29, 2007, John Cena and Shawn Michaels defeated champions Rated RKO for the World Tag Team Championship. Both John Cena and Shawn Michaels fought each other for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania while holding the Tag Team Championship. That was the second time two co holders of the Tag Team Championship had a One-on-One match with each other at Wrestlemania (the first being Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio).
