Jesus Take The Wheel. This was the first song that Carrie released from her album. It is a nice song about asking for Jesus' forgiveness, and for his help during life's difficult situations.
Inside Your Heaven. Carrie released this song, along with "Independence Day", the song featured on the c.d. "American Idol Season Four: The Showstoppers". Bo Bice, the runner up of season four, later released his own version of the song.

It is up in the air whether or not they will be able to stay together, though Carrie, as the narrator, seems to have had a similar experience that ended badly.

I Ain't in Checotah Anymore. This fun song seems to be an ode to Carrie's home town in Oklahoma. Throughout the song, she compares her life in New York to the quieter life she once had. She sees a lot of perks to her new life, but she clearly misses her home state.

Wasted. This is the first song on the album. It is about people finally realizing how to really experience and enjoy life, one of whom discovers that you can't get the most out of life while constantly wasted. I hope you all enjoy Carrie's c.d. as much as I do!

American Idol. Carrie won season 4 of "American Idol" and went on to have a #1 country album called "Some Hearts."
Some Hearts. Carrie's album "Some Hearts" was the fastest selling debut country music album in country music history.
Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Carrie was born in Muskogee Regional Medical Center located in Muskogee, Oklahoma, which is just outside of her hometown Checota. Muskogee Regional Medical Center opened on July 1, 1928 and took two years to build.
Checotah, OK. Carrie grew up on a rural farm with her parents in her hometown Checota, OK. When Carrie was growing up she started singing very young and made her first recording at the age of 13, but it didn't work out. She graduated from high school as salutatorian in her class. Carrie always wanted to be a singer growing up and her parents were with her through it all.
