What is a liquid medicine given orally called?

    A drench. A drench is used for various medications especially when tablets need to be given. They are crushed and mixed with water and put into a large syringe. This is especially useful when horses will not eat their food when tablets are added.

A horse can vomit.
    n. No they cannot. That is why a horse will end up with colic. They have the inability to regurgitate (throw up), so therefore the stomach cannot be emptied in order to make them feel better (indigestion). Instead they may roll due to the pain, which in turn can cause a twisted colon which may require surgery.

    Tetanus. Mastitis is a bacterial infection of the mammary tissue of the udder. Laminitis is another name for founder. Rhinopneumonitis is another name for contagious abortion.

Feed a horse with scours a richer diet.
    f. Scours means that they have a loose stool. If you would make the diet richer it would only add to the problem.

Which of these plants are not poisonous to horses: choke berry, poke berry, dandelions, bracken fern, horsetail, or lantana?
    Dandelions&dandelion. Yes, dandelions are the only one in the group mentioned that are non-poisonous. There are many others that are poisonous too, so be careful where you let your horses graze.
