    Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays beat the Braves in 6 games.

Who hit the dramatic go-ahead two-run home run for the Blue Jays in the top of the ninth inning of game 2?
    Ed Sprague. Batting for pitcher Duane Ward, backup catcher Ed Sprague came off the bench and hit the first World Series pitch he ever saw into the left field stands.

In game 2 in Atlanta, what happened that created an international incident?
    The U.S. Marine Color Guard paraded the Canadian flag upside-down. The Jays won game 2, 5-4.

In game 3, the Blue Jays centerfielder made one of the greatest plays in World Series history. What was his name?
    Devon White. In the top of the fourth, with Terry Pendleton on first and Deion Sanders on second, White made an incredible leaping catch while hitting the wall at the 400-foot mark. He then landed and fired the ball back to the infield. Not realizing that Pendleton was already out for passing Sanders on the basepaths, the Jays threw to first to force out Pendleton, and then to Kelly Gruber at third, who had Sanders in a rundown. Gruber just clipped Sanders on the heel with the ball, apparently completing the second triple-play in World Series history, but umpire Bob Davidson called Sanders safe. Later, Davidson saw the replay and admitted he probably blew the call. The Jays won game 3, 3-2.

In game 4, which Blue Jay pitcher threw a magnificent 7 and 2/3 innings, with one-run and a five-hit performance?
    Jimmy Key. The only run Key let in came in the eighth inning. The Jays won game 4, 2-1.

In game 5, who hit the fifth inning grand slam off Jack Morris that put the Braves ahead, 7-2?
    Lonnie Smith. The Blue Jays never scored after that, and the Braves won game 5, 7-2.

What Blue Jay pitcher picked up the series-winning win in the game 6?
    Jimmy Key. Although David Cone started the game, Jimmy Key got the win when the Jays went ahead in the 11th. The Blue Jays won, 4-3.

Who drove in the game winning runs in the 11th inning of game 6?
    Dave Winfield. In the top of the 11th with two outs and Devon White and Roberto Alomar on base, Dave Winfield hit a two-run double down the left field line.

Who picked up the save for the Jays in game 6?
    Mike Timlin. In the bottom of the 11th with two outs and the tying run on third, Cito Gaston sent in Mike Timlin to get the final out of the World Series. the batter, Otis Nixon, bunted and Timlin fielded the ball and threw to first to win the series.

Who was the World Series MVP?
    Pat Borders. Borders hit .450 in the series with two home runs, and was the only player to hit in all six games.
