    The Waratahs kicked a 45-metre penalty goal. The Waratahs received a penalty just inside the Crusaders' half, and the goal was nailed by centimetres by first-five Shaun Berne to give them a 34-31 victory.

    Both visiting teams. The Blues crushed the Bulls 56-28, while the Reds did the same to the Stormers 41-20. There weren't any draws in the Super 12 in the year.

The Blues carried on their winning way in Round 11, and their victory over the Cats at Eden Park ensured a home semi. What was the score?
    33-9. The Blues won 33-9.

The Reds needed a victory over the Sharks in Round 11 to keep their hopes of a semi alive. What was the result?
    Reds 22 Sharks 13. The Reds just beat the Sharks in Brisbane 22-13. However with the Brumbies and the Waratahs also winning, the Reds chances of making the semis were dashed.

Round 11 saw the Bulls continue their quest to be the leading South African team. What was the result of their game against the Chiefs?
    Won 29-26. This win assured the Bulls, who were last in 2002 Super 12, of finishing as the top South African team for 2003.

The final round of Super 12 2003 was remarkable, in that no team scored more than 30 points?
    true. The winning teams scored 29, 28, 28, 27, 25, and 24 points.

All three Australian teams played at home in Round 12. Which one lost?
    Brumbies. The Brumbies lost 21-28 to the Crusaders in Canberra, but still made the semifinals on points difference. In Brisbane, the Reds killed off the Highlanders' semis hopes by 28-23, and the Waratahs beat the Chiefs 25-14 in Sydney.

The remaining games of Round 12 were 'home derbies' between the Blues and the Hurricanes, the Sharks and the Bulls, and the Stormers and the Cats. Who won these games?
    Blues, Bulls & Stormers. Blues 29-17 in Auckland, Bulls 24-16 in Durban and Stormers 27-21 in Cape Town were the results.

So the four semifinalists were decided. Who were they?
    Blues, Crusaders, Hurricanes & Brumbies. The semifinalists, in finishing order, were the Blues with 49 points, the Crusaders with 40, the Hurricanes with 35, and the Brumbies with 31. The Blues played the Brumbies in one semi, and the other two NZ sides played each other at Jade Stadium.
