Tom Seaver. Seaver, who spent most of his career with the Mets and the Reds, won 311 career games along with his 1967 Rookie of the Year and three Cy Young awards. He retired in 1986 after 20 seasons, and was a Hall of Fame inductee in 1992.

Joe Foy. All these players were involved in this on June 21, 1967, and a major brawl it was. Immediately after Boston outfielder Tony Conigliaro belted a three-run home run in the first inning, the Yankees' pitcher Thad Tillotson leveled third baseman Joe Foy with a pitch, but did not hit him. The following pitch, Foy was hit in the head with a Tillotson pitch. The brawl did not start there however. The following inning, Red Sox pitcher Jim Lonborg beaned Tillotson in retalliation. This was when the bell sounded and both benches emptied. Yankee Joe Pepitione was injured in the action.

Pittsburgh Pirates. Mack spent 50 years managing the Philadelphia Athletics starting in 1901. However, his first three seasons as a manager were with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1894, 1895, and 1896. 149 of his record 3582 wins were with Pittsburgh.

Canaries. The Canaries were the first pro team that Baltimore experienced. After losing their star player after two seasons, Tom Carey, the team went 9-38 in 1874.
