What sort of creature is Gaudior?
    A unicorn. Gaudior is a beautiful silvery unicorn with wings that disappear when he folds them across his back.

What does the name Gaudior mean?
    "More joyful". Gaudior was a creature of the Old Music.

What does Mrs. O'Keefe constantly call Charles Wallace?
    Chuck. She calls him this because she had a younger brother called Chuck.

What does the name Ananda mean?
    "That joy in existance without which the world would fall apart and collapse". Ananda was a dog found out in the cold that the Murrys adopted. A big name for one dog, but it was a big dog.

Who was planning to drop a bomb on the U.S.?
    Mad Dog Branzillo. Mad Dog Branzillo was planning to start a nuclear war, and Charles Wallace had to time travel to stop him.

What holiday is being celebrated at the start of the book?
    Thanksgiving. The Murrys are having Thanksgiving dinner when Mr. Murry receives a phone call from the President about Mad Dog Branzillo.

Who is Meg married to?
    Calvin O'Keefe. Meg is married to Calvin and is pregnant with his child.

What was Mrs. O'Keefe's nickname as a child?
    Beezie. She was called this because her name was Branwen Zillah, so her initials were B.Z., hence, Beezie.

What is the last line of the rune?
    "Between myself and the powers of darkness". The last three lines of the rune are "All these I place / By the God's almighty help and grave / Between myself and the powers of darkness". The line "Protect me" doesn't exist in the rune.
