Across the street from the Central Station there is a famous amusement park, what is it called?

    Tivoli. The park opened on the 15th of August 1843 and 16000 people visited Tivoli on the first day.

Next to the City Hall we see a statue of a famous Danish author, who is it?
    H. C. Andersen. H. C. Andersen wrote the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" which was adapted by Disney.

Which castle has the Queen's crown jewels?
    Rosenborg. The Renaissance castle was commissioned by King Christian the IV.

Who uses Christiansborg Slot castle?
    Politicians. The original Christiansborg Castle was used by Bishop Absalon, the man who founded Copenhagen, as a fortress. It had to be rebuild several times due to fire damages.

What is Nyhavn (New Haven/New Harbour) famous for?
    Colorful houses and restaurents. It is actually a man-made canal built by soldiers between 1671 and 1673 so ships could access Kongens Nytorv.

What is the name of the castle where the Royal Family lives?
    Amalienborg Slot. Everyday at noon people flock to the castle to see the changing of the guards.

From the palace square we can see a big church which turns out to be Frederiks Kirken (The Frederik's Church). It is also known as ________ ?
    The Marble Church. The dome is 46 meters across and was inspired by the St Peter's Church in Rome, Italy.

As we make our way down to the harbour we see a beautiful fountain. It's the Gefion fountain which shows the Norse Goddess Gefion commanding four ploughing aminals. Which animals?
    Bulls. It is inspired by the ancient Norse saga about the birth of Zealand.

Along the harbour we see a famous statue which a lot of people see as a symbol of Copenhagen. What is the name of the statue?
    The Little Mermaid. It was created by the Danish sculptor Edvard Eriksen and is cast in bronze. She has been sitting by the harbour since 1913.

Our hotel which is situated on Kongens Nytorv. I feel special staying here as this is hotel where guests of the Royal Family stay. Where am I staying?
    Hotel d'angleterre. It was built in the 18th century and from some of the rooms you have an excellent view of Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn (New Haven/New Harbour ).
