She is an active inventor. She uses everyday items, like MacGyver does, to help her siblings out of trouble. Who is she?

Violet. Violet Baudelaires invents something in every book. She is very accomplished at her inventing. Her siblings know she is thinking when she ties her hair up.

Carmelita. Carmelita Spats is a bully from Prufrock Preparatory School. She is seen off and on throughout the last half of the series.

He is a banker. He is in charge of the Baudelaire children's affairs. He is quite incapable when it comes to taking care of the children. Who is he?

Mr. Poe. Mr. Poe is seen in almost every book in the series. He is constantly coughing and wheezing into his handkerchief.

She is a reporter. She works for the Daily Punctilio and is a somewhat minor character. Who is she?

Geraldine Julienne. Geraldine is seen off and on throughout the series. She adores Esme and would do whatever Esme asked.

He is a herpetologist. He is one of several guardians for the Baudelaires. He is killed in one of first few books. Who is he?

Uncle Monty. Uncle Monty is murdered by Olaf in the middle of "The Reptile Room." Monty might have been a member of VFD.

The author of the series was part of a set of triplets. Who were his siblings?

Kit and Jacques. Lemony, Kit, and Jacques were the Snicket triplets. Kit died in childbirth in "The End" and Jacques was murdered in "The Vile Village."
