    The Argonne Forest: 2nd-7th October 1918. Several elements formed the Lost Battalion but the senior officer Major Charles Whittlesey helped keep them fighting. After the action his men had gained a new impression of their commander.

    Jemmy. After the charge Jemmy returned to the lines with 2 shell splinters in his neck. He survived and later returned to England.
