Special Sub-Topic: All About Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Jones was born on what date?

April 28, 1929. She was born six months before the stock market crashed.

Carolyn Jones actual last name wasn't Jones. What was her real last name?
Baker. When she went into the acting business, she decided to use the last name Jones because she liked it better. Interestingly enough, Carolyn Jones was married to Aaron Spelling in the 50's to early sixties, and at the time she was more famous than he was.

In one of Carolyn Jones first movies, she was just a walk on nurse with a line or two. The movie starred Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. What is the name of this movie?
The Tender Trap. She was apparently very good at the small part she had because many directors and producers liked her, and she received many more roles and offers after this.

Another movie Carolyn Jones was in she played Ronnie, a woman who was tied in with a gang even though she herself was not bad. The movie was called "King Creole." Who starred as Danny?
Elvis Presley & Presley. This was said to be Elvis Presley's best movie he ever made. Carolyn Jones acted her part very well, and in my opinion, that was one of her best movies as well.

Carolyn Jones also co-starred in a movie with Kevin McCarthy and Dana Wynter. What is it called?
Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Another one of Carolyn Jones best movies. Her acting talent as well as the other stars made this movie, in my opinion, better than the second one.

Carolyn Jones also starred in "Last Train From Gun Hill" a western about a man who wants to get back at it his best friend's son for killing his wife. Who else starred in this movie?
Kirk Douglas. Normally, I really don't care for westerns very much, but after I saw this movie I seriously reconsidered.

From 1964-1966 Carolyn Jones starred with John Astin and Jackie Coogan in a t.v series about a family that's a little out of the ordinary. What was the name of the television series?
The Addams Family & Addams Family & The Addam's Family & Addam's Family. "The Addams Family" is one of my favorite shows ever, and I believe is really what made Carolyn Jones famous. Her role as Morticia Addams was unforgettable and made her a common household name in the sixties.

Carolyn Jones also had a small role as Marsha Queen Of Diamonds in what television show starring Adam West?
Batman. Again she had a small role but was still cherished by many fans.

After Carolyn Jones was diagnosed with cancer, she only got to act a little while longer. What was the name of the last television show, or soap opera that she was on?
Capitol. Sadly, Carolyn Jones had to leave the show because she got to sick.

Unfortunately, Carolyn Jones died of cancer at age 54. What date and year did she die?
August 3, 1983. Many people were deeply saddened when she died because she was so young and talented. We still watch her movies and television shows and remember Carolyn Jones as a great actress.
