When was Jason Alexander born?

September 23, 1959. Jason was born Jason Scott Greenspan on September 23, 1959 in Newark, New Jersey. He changed his name to Jason Alexander while in high school. He has a half brother and a half sister.

Jason won a Tony award in 1987.
    f. Jason won his Tony Award in 1989. The Tony Awards are named after Antoinette Perry's Award for Excellence in Theatre. He won Best Actor in a Musical for "Broadway" by Jerome Robbins. The musical "Broadway" was show comprised of musical numbers from earlier shows that were either directed or choreographed by Jerome Robbins.

Jason was a star on what animated series from 1994 to 1997?
Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man. Jason voiced Eric Duckman in the animated series "Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man". Other stars lending their voice to the series were: Nancy Travis, Dana Hill and Gregg Berger. This show was about a lazy, insane sex-starved detective duck. He tried to have a normal family but Duckman was just too rude and crude. Jason played this character to perfection.

Jason starred in what short lived show after the end of "Seinfeld"?
Bob Patterson. Jason starred in "Bob Patterson" which aired for five episodes in 2001 before being cancelled. Jason was the writer of this program as well. It was created by Brad Hall, who is married to Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine Benes of "Seinfeld" fame). This show was about Bob Patterson who was a motivational speaker. The funny part was that Bob was so self centered and clueless. As a motivational speaker, you should be selfless. "Watching Ellie" (2002-2003) was another Brad Hall creation starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The Summer of George is not a show but something that Jason yelled out in a "Seinfeld" episode. Jason was never a star on "The Daily Show".

Jason played Mauricio in what 2001 movie?
Shallow Hal. Jason played Mauricio Wilson in the movie "Shallow Hal" (2001). This movie also starred Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow. It was about a shallow man named Hal who falls in love with a 300 pound woman. I really enjoyed this movie as it had a very good lesson. Never judge a book by its cover. Jason was in "Pretty Woman"(1990) but his character's name was Philip Stuckey. Jason's character in "Jacob's Ladder" (1990) was named Leary. Jason was not in "Old School" (2003).

Where did Jason go to university?
Boston University. Jason attended Boston University but dropped out because he was offered work in New York City. He was given an honourary degree in 1995. Other notable graduates are Faye Dunaway, Michael Chiklis and Alfre Woodward from the Performing Arts Field. Martin Luther King, Jr. also attended this fine university.

Jason won an Emmy Award for his portrayal of George on "Seinfeld"?
    F. I am sad to say that Jason has never won an Emmy Award for his portrayal of George. However, Jerry Seinfeld never won either. Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer) and Julie Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine Benes) both won. The show did win an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993. However, Jason did win a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award in 1995 for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for "Seinfeld".

The character of George Costanza is based on a real person(s).
    T. George was based on Larry David (from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" fame), and Jerry Seinfeld's college classmate, Michael Costanza. George was Jerry's childhood friend, who was a neurotic, self-loathing, stocky, bald man who was dominated by his parents. What can be said about George? He was dishonest and petty but Jerry and viewers liked him.

In 2005, Jason appeared in which commercial advertisement with Lee Iacocca?
Daimler Chrysler. During the summer of 2005, Jason appeared with Lee Iacocca in ads for Daimler Chrysler. Jason also made a McDonald's commercial advertising the McDLT. He sang in this commercial. He did a live commercial for Rold Gold during the Super Bowl in 1995.

Jason lent his voice to which character in what animated series that ran from the beginning of 1999 to mid-year 2000?
Catbert. Jason voiced Catbert in the animated series "Dilbert". This show was based on the comic strip "Dilbert" by Scott Adams. The comic strip was about an engineer named Dilbert who worked in a white-collar, micromanaged office. Catbert was my favourite character. He was the evil HR Director who purrs with the mere mention of the term "layoffs". Dogbert was Dilbert's dog who wants to take over the world. Ratbert was an ex lab rat who just wants to become part of a family.
