    Porsche. He was partnered with Larry Perkins. They didn't finish the race because during the 11th hour, Perkins clipped a slower car and spun into the fence.

    14th. He ranked higher than Nigel Mansell, Jackie Stewart and Jack Brabham. Of all the people ahead of him, only 2 two were still alive, Mario Andretti and Michael Schumacher.
