Because they are in hiding. We find out that a dark wave was heading towards Hunter's parent's coven, so to save their children they decided to go into hiding. This didn't work, as the dark wave followed them wherever they went.

Linden, Alwyn and Cal. Linden is Hunter's younger brother who was killed after he summoned the Taibhs. Alwyn is his yonger sister, she doesn't have a significant role in any of the "Wicca" books. Cal is Hunter's older half-brother, on his father's side.

16 years. Morgan's half-sister Iona trapped Hunter on an island for 16 years because she hated Morgan for being her father's favorite daughter and she wanted to hurt her.

Cirrus. Hunter took over the leadership of Cirrus after Cal ran away because he had tried to kill Morgan.

Woodbane and Wynkendell. Hunter's father is a reformed Woodbane, (he has renounced the old ways of the Woodbane clan), and his mother is a Wyndenkell, therefore he is half Woodbane and half Wyndenkell.
