    Che. "Evita" is a rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It is a biography of the Argentinian First Lady, Eva Peron, who died of cancer in 1952. The character of Che was based on Che Guevara, and he was the show's narrator and dissenting voice. He sang "Oh What a Circus" and a duet with Eva, "Waltz for Eva and Che", among other songs.

Where was Mandy born?
    Chicago. Mandy was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1952. Although he no longer lives there, he is very proud of being a Chicagoan.

Where did Mandy study acting and singing?
    Juilliard School of Drama. After attending Kansas University, Mandy studied at the famous Juilliard School of Drama. Other notable graduates include Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald and Patti LuPone.

Which character did Mandy play in the medical series "Chicago Hope"?
    Doctor Jeffrey Geiger. Doctor Geiger was a surgeon who suffered from emotional problems stemming from his wife's poor mental health. Mandy played the role from 1994-1995 and again from 1999-2000. The other choices are other characters on the same show.

Which role did Mandy play on the short-lived Showtime series "Dead Like Me"?
    Rube Sofer. "Dead Like Me" centered around George Lass, a dead girl who, along with four other dead people, were assigned to take people's souls shortly before they die. Mandy played the boss, Rube Sofer.

Mandy survived prostate cancer in 2004.

    "Sunday in the Park with George". Mandy was nominated for his role as George in Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George" in 1984, but he lost. He was again nominated for his role as Burrs in 2000's "The Wild Party", and lost again.

In the mid-80's, Mandy was a featured singer in the concert version of Stephen Sondheim's "Follies". Which role did Mandy sing?
    Buddy Plummer. "Follies" concerns former entertainers who revisit the old theatre where they performed in revues similar to Ziegfield's Follies. Buddy was married to a former Follies girl and earned a living being a travelling salesman.

In 1999 Mandy played the villain in a movie featuring which Sesame Street character?
    Elmo. Mandy played Huxley in the movie "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland". In it, Elmo went to Grouchland hot on the trail of his beloved and lost blue blanket. Mandy's best line in the whole movie was "I always fancied myself a singer. I was almost in a bus and truck show of 'West Side Story'. They said I wasn't right for Maria. What do they know? I feel pretty!"
