Tetsu. Tetsu joined the band in 1993 and left after Memoire DX was released. Klaha joined in 2000, Gackt in 1994, and Hide (X-Japan) was never in the band.

Shue. Shue was never officially in the band; he was never pictured in photo shoots and never in lives. In Japan, it is indecent to replace a deceased band member. Gaz came before Kami, and Kozi was the second guitarist.

Gaz. Gaz was the first drummer, and only recorded "Speed of Desperate" with the band. Tetsu was the vocalist and recorded several songs, Mana has recorded every song with the band, and Hide (X-Japan) was never in the band.

Yu~ki. In live performances, especially when Gackt was in the band, Yu~ki was the vampire/count. Kozi often took odd roles, Gackt was typically the "hero", and Mana was, well... the girl.

Mana and Kozi. Mana and Kozi both played in bands together before forming Malice Mizer. Yu~ki was recruited after the two saw him perform in his band, Ze:ro, and Gaz was also recruited later.

Klaha and Mana. Mana considers Moi Dix Mois, his current band, a "solo project". Klaha became a pop singer. Gackt is also a pop singer, however, he began his solo career before the band's breakup. Tetsu does vocals and guitar for the band Nil currently.

Played drums. While Gackt was perfectly capable of singing, playing the guitar, and the piano, he only drummed in his earlier band.
