A person considered by Hercule Poirot to be "a man of method". He is the husband of the victim in Poirot's first case. Who is this person?
    Mr. Alfred Inglethorp. He appears in "The Mysterious Affair at Styles". It is eventually revealed that he murdered his wife Emily.

An odious woman who rules her family and tortures them psychologically. She is eventually poisoned to death. Who is this person?
    Mrs. Boynton. She appears in "Appointment with Death".

An inspector who dislikes Miss Marple enormously and does not hide the fact. He appears in "Murder at the Vicarage", "The Body in the Library", and two short stories. Who is this person?
    Inspector Slack. Inspector Slack is played by David Horovitch in the "Miss Marple" TV series.

    Georges. Georges is Poirot's valet and appears in several cases with him including "Murder on the Links", "The Underdog", and "Elephants Can Remember".

    Mrs. Oliver. Mrs. Oliver is a mystery writer. Christie took many of her own feelings and incorporated them into this character.
