    General Wainwright. General Wainwright took over from MacArthur after the latter was ordered to escape to Australia. Wainwright was then left to order the greatest American military surrender since the Civil War.

What was the name of the primary passage located under Malinta Hill?
    Malinta Tunnel. General MacArthur's HQ was located here.

Corregidor surrendered to the Japanese before Bataan fell.
    f. Corregidor held out for almost a month after the fall of Bataan and suffered one of the greatest artillery bombardments of the war.
