Nettlebrand. Nettlebrand was a powerful dragon that was created by the skill and creativity of an alchemist long ago. In fact, Nettlebrand was created as a killing machine so he could hunt down silver dragons, and Firedrake was a silver dragon.

f. Actually, silver dragons relied on the power of the moon and its light for their energy. Unlike other living beings in the world, dragons didn't eat anything or drink anything. All of their energy came directly from moonlight and it was all they needed for survival.

Twigleg. When the alchemist created Nettlebrand he also invented a homunculus known as Twigleg; he also gave Twigleg eleven brothers. Shortly after, Nettlebrand, vicious as he was, ate the alchemist and he also ate all of Twigleg's brothers but spared Twigleg. That way the evil dragon with golden scales would have a servant working for him.

What was the name of the orphan boy who befriended a dragon and a brownie and went with them on their quest for the mystical land of dragons?

Ben. Ben was an orphan who spent most of his days on the streets. When Firedrake and Sorrel went into hiding so they wouldn't be seen by the humans that were around, Ben discovered them and shortly after they became friends. Then, he went with them on their quest for the Rim of Heaven.

What was the name of the mystical place that was the home of all dragons in the world?

Rim of Heaven. The Rim of Heaven was said to be the mystical place that was the true home for all dragons in the world. However, no one on earth had ever found it before and some people said that it was folklore. Near the end of the story, Firedrake and his friends finally found the Rim of Heaven and by doing so proved that it existed.

The Golden One was destroyed near the end of the story.

t. After Firedake and his friends found the Rim of Heaven, Nettlebrand was right behind them and he was ready to vanquish the silver dragon. Then, after teaming up with another silver dragon, Firedrake and Sorrel used their skills and they worked together in the destruction of the Golden One.

Professor Greenbloom. Professor Greenbloom was a brilliant man who was married and had a daughter. In his past, he had researched dragons for years and then he actually got to meet Firedrake, and by doing so he also met Ben. At the end of the story, the generous professor adopted Ben and was very happy about that. Not only that, but Ben was also happy because he knew that all of the dragons in the valley were being guided by Firedrake to their home in the safety of the Rim of Heaven.
