Special Sub-Topic: Electric Avenue: The Energetic Electro

When not in his costumed identity, by which name is Electro known?

Maxwell Dillon. Dillon first appeared in 1964 to cause Spider-Man some electrical trouble. He has returned numerous times since then, both as a solo operative and as part of a fearsome group!

Who talked Electro out of becoming an electrical engineer?
His mother. Mrs. Dillon was overprotective of her son Max ever since Mr. Dillon left the family. This has led Electro to develop an enormous inferiority complex. It is his major flaw as a villain.

As a result of an accident, Electro gained electric powers. Who was his first target?
    J. Jonah Jameson. His nervous system altered forever by the accident, Dillon became something of a human capacitator. He turned to crime, as so many superpowered individuals do, and attacked J. Jonah Jameson, Peter Parker's sometime boss.

While charged, Electro has a great weakness for water. How did Electro attempt to end his life?
He threw himself into the Hudson river. It is unknown if this ended Dillon's life, but he reappeared, as comic book characters never disappear for long. At this point, Electro was enraged by his string of failures.

Electro was hired to bust someone out of prison. Who?
Karl Lykos. Lykos is the villain known as Sauron, who has menaced the X-Men. Held in the supervillain prison The Raft, Electro freed Lykos, only to be captured himself.

Electro, before he embarked on a career of crime, had a wife. What was her name?
Norma. Norma left Max when he refused to work to his full potential, likely a result of his inferiority complex.

The villain known as The Rose offered to enhance Electro's powers. Whom did he have to kill first?
Black Tarantula. Black Tarantula is Carlos LaMuerto, another villain. A crime boss with enhanced strength and regenerative powers, he rivaled The Rose for control of New York City's crime scene.

Electro watched Hulk and Spider-Man fight, taking bets on Spider-Man's actions.
    T. In this way, Dillon raised quite a bit of money. Who said being a villain wasn't a smart financial choice?

J. Jonah Jameson believed that Iron Fist and Electro were the same person!
    F. The crazy newspaper editor believed that Electro was just a cover for Spider-Man to carry out notorious activities. This was likely why Jameson was the first target of Electro's career.

During his time engineering a prison break, Electro had a girlfriend. Where was she from?
Boston. Electro was dating a waitress from Boston, despite the fact that he had previously questioned his sexuality. Freeing Karl Lykos and many other prisoners, Electro was himself captured.
