    Belgium. Belgium's flag features vertical black, yellow and red stripes.

Edam and Gouda are two varieties of cheese from this country - which one?
    The Netherlands. Anatto dye is used to colour the rind of Edam cheese. France is also a large producer of cheese in many varieties such as Brie and Camembert.

My national holiday is June 23rd. Where am I?
    Luxembourg. Belgium's national holiday is July 21st, that of the Netherlands is April 30th and France celebrates its Bastille Day on July 14th.

Piet Mondrian and Vincent Van Gogh were famous painters from this country - can you name it?
    The Netherlands. Van Gogh was a post-impressionist who was acclaimed only after his suicide. Mondrian was a major figure in abstract art.

This country won the World Cup in soccer in 1998 for the first time. Where am I?
    France. Other countries that have won the World Cup are Brazil, the former West Germany, Argentina, Italy, England and Uruguay. The Dutch have been runners-up on two occasions but have never won.

The country now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo was taken over by another country in 1908 - which one?
    Belgium. King Leopold II of Belgium owned the Congo as early as 1885 but Belgium officially took control of it in 1908. Congo won its independence in 1960.

    Luxembourg. Luxembourg borders Germany, France and Belgium. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was created in 1354.

    Belgian. Belgium is also famous for chocolate and waffles, among other things.

The Battle of Agincourt took place in 1415 in which country?
    France. The French lost this battle, which opened the way for the English conquest of Normandy.

The islands of Martinique, Corsica and Guadeloupe are governed by which country?
