    Hanover & Hannover. Hanover was an English town in the Middle Ages.

    Heidelberg. Queen Silvia was an inhabitant of this town.

In this town lies the "Deutsches Eck", where Moselle and Rhine come together.
    Koblenz.

This town was the former capital of Germany and birthplace of Beethoven.
    Bonn. After the reunion Berlin is the new capital.

In the Middle Ages some merchants named "Fugger" lived in this Bavarian town.
    Augsburg.

This town in Bavaria is famous for its "Christkindlmarkt".
    Nuernberg & Nuremberg & Nürnberg. Also the trials against the Nazis found their place there.

In this town in the Pfalz a famous flight accident happened on an US airbase.
    Ramstein. This base was later used for the attacks against Iraq.

This town is famous for razors of stainless steel.
    Soling & Solingen. Solingen is synonymous for steel.
