Chipper. Edmund is the name of the Prince, who is the one who gave Chipper to Alexandria.

Sparkling white teeth. I couldn't really think of anything else but white teeth. At first she loved the gifts, but eventually tired of them.

Ogresses. Alas, it was indeed Ogresses, and very ugly ones at that. She just happened to sleep in their cottage that night.

Lily Pads. These items came in very great handy as the Prince and Alexandria made their escape from the ogresses. They were left by the pond everyday for her to find.

An angel. The Prince and Alexandria had climbed up a tree to hide from the guards. Unfortunately, one of her shoes fell off and hit Smeatt on the head, revealing where they were hiding.

Her fiancee. They had been betrothed for a long time.

His father was dead. The Prince said that he wanted it to be true that his father was dead, so that the King of Gilboa wouldn't have had him dragged through the streets and humiliated in front of his people.

Finish her wedding dress. The reason he made her finish the dress was because she had promised that the minute she finished her wedding gown, she would get married.
|Who were the twelve ladies in white at the end of the book?|
Her geese AND sisters. Her sisters had been turned to geese by accident by their mother, and the only way to be turned back to normal was for one of the sisters to wear the crown jewels of Gilboa.
