    All of these (Isolate new horses to the yard, Separate grooming brushes for each horse, Have different saddle cloths for each horse). When buying a horse, vetting should rule out the possibility of ringworm.

Sensitive skin can be a cause of girth galls.
    True. Some horses have sensitive skin. Even certain washing powders can irritate them!

Laminitis only affects little fat ponies.
    False. Laminitis can affect any horse. Fat ponies are more prone but retaining the afterbirth or inflammation of the gut may also result in laminitis.
