Special Sub-Topic: "I Love Lucci"-Episode 4
The actress who portrayed Skye Chandler, in this episode, had what accent?
British. Although Robin Christopher is the most well known actress to play Skye on "AMC", the actress who originated the role was Antoinette Byron. Byron's Skye had a British accent and was then replaced by Robin Christopher, who was actually her first cousin but Christopher was not British. Some of Byron's other credits include guest starring stints on the TV series', "Melrose Place", "Baywatch", and "Malcolm in the Middle."
Who walked Erica down the aisle at her wedding to Jeremy Hunter in prison?
Mark Dalton. Jeremy was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to prison. Erica was in love with Jeremy and proposed to him. He accepted and the prison warden agreed to allow Erica and Jeremy to marry in the prison. Mark Dalton, Erica's half brother (they both share the same father, Eric Kane, but have different mothers), walked Erica down the aisle. Also, Mark made arrangements to assist Erica in breaking Jeremy out of prison.
Who was Jeremy's Best Man at his prison wedding to Erica?
Tom Cudahy. Jeremy asked Tom Cudahy to be his best man, at the wedding, and Tom accepted. As Erica walked down the aisle, you could see Tom standing right beside Jeremy Hunter. In the middle of the ceremony, Erica fainted and was taken to the infirmary to recover. Tom Cudahy was Erica's third husband but he divorced her when she lied to him about wanting a baby (she took birth control pills behind his back).
In the episode, Palmer mentioned that who was his own personal nurse?
Natalie Marlowe. Palmer was paralyzed, from the waist down, and he decided to hire Natalie Marlowe to nurse him back to a healthy lifestyle. Palmer felt a little bit of movement, in his leg, and he mentioned this to his housekeeper, Myra Murdoch (Daisy Murdoch's mother and Nina Warner's grandmother). Palmer mentioned that Natalie, his nurse, would be thrilled to see him making such progress. Natalie was Palmer's fourth wife (When Palmer married Natalie, it was his fifth marriage but he had married Daisy Murdoch twice prior to his marriage to Natalie) and she died in a car accident in 1993.
What did Ross call Natalie?
Opportunist. Ross disliked Natalie, immensely, since he felt she had interests in Palmer other than being his nurse. Natalie told Ross that she cared about her job and also cared for Palmer. Ross offered Natalie a huge sum of money to leave town and never come back but Natalie refused his offer. Ross told Natalie that he never liked her and felt she was a self serving opportunist. The following year, Ross raped Natalie and was sentenced to prison.
What movie's theme song played while Erica and Jeremy discussed going on the run on the prison rooftop?
Halloween. When Jeremy went to see Erica in the infirmary, Erica told Jeremy she faked being faint and she and Jeremy escaped from a back door in the infirmary. Erica ran to the prison rooftop, with Jeremy right behind her, to get to the helicopter that would whisk her and Jeremy away. While Jeremy and Erica were on the rooftop, the theme song to John Carpenter's film, "Halloween", played. Jeremy told Erica he could not go through escaping from prison and told Erica he had to stay and prove his innocence. Erica went to the helicopter while Jeremy went back to his prison cell. Shortly after this, Jeremy and Erica broke up.
Who asked Natalie if she was falling in love with Palmer?
Donna Beck. In this episode, Donna Beck went over to Natalie's home and wanted to talk to her about Palmer. In the middle of the conversation, Donna asked Natalie if she was falling for Palmer and Natalie said absolutely not. Natalie stated that, since she was Palmer's nurse, it would not be practical for them to fall in love. Donna remarked that love is never practical and Natalie agreed but assured Donna she was not romantically attracted to Palmer. Eventually, Palmer and Natalie fell in love.
Who told Adam that he saw a helicopter flying in the direction of the prison?
Peter Reynolds. A man named Peter Reynolds came to see Tad, at Tad's place of employment, and they entered into a business deal. Adam was also there and Peter told Adam that he saw a WRCW helicopter (WRCW were the call letters for the television station in Pine Valley. At this time, Adam owned WRCW) flying towards the prison. Adam called up his assistant and asked if someone was assigned to cover the prison wedding for the evening news. His assistant said no one had an assignment to cover that news item so Adam told his assistant to make sure no WRCW crew members go to the prison to cover the wedding. Matt Connelly was the one who managed to get a WRCW helicopter and he flew it to the prison to try and bust Jeremy out of prison but this never happened (see the "Interesting Info" section for question six for more).
At the prison wedding, Mark pulled which woman aside and asked her if they could be together?
Brooke English. Mark grabbed Brooke and asked her to come with him to chat privately. Brooke agreed and Mark asked Brooke if she noticed how fast time went and wondered if they could be together. Mark told Brooke he would be a better lover to her than Tom Cudahy was and implied that he could beat up Tom. Brooke warned Mark that he was in a prison and had a wire on him so he best not make those kinds of threats. Mark and Brooke dated, for a brief period of time, but it was nothing serious.
At the prison wedding, who said that she believed Erica was pregnant?
Phoebe Wallingford. After Erica fainted, Phoebe went to talk to Mona and she asked if Erica was ill. Mona said Erica was not sick so Phoebe stated that she felt Erica was, in all likelihood, pregnant. Mona told Phoebe that was uncalled for and Phoebe went on to say that it was rather tacky to get married in a prison. A woman came by and told Phoebe that she heard a story on how Phoebe was married to a man that tried to kill her and this persuaded Phoebe to leave Mona alone.
