This Indian PM is very well known for his speech named "A Tryst with Destiny".

    Jawaharlal Nehru. The speech served as an inaugural address at the stroke of midnight on 15 August,1947 when India became independent.

This PM introduced the slogan "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" and earned part of his name from Kashi Vidya Peetha.
    Lal Bahadur Shastri. "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" means "Hail soldiers, Hail farmers". It was used to encourage the soldiers during the attack by Pakistan and encourage farmers to fight the food grain scarcity, both the events occurring during Shastri's tenure. Shastri was the title acquired from Kashi Vidya Peetha.

He was the first acting prime minister of India.
    Gulzarilal Nanda. He was made acting prime minister twice, after the deaths of Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri for a period of 13 and 14 days respectively.

He is the only Indian prime minister to receive the highest civil awards of both India(Bharat Ratna) and Pakistan(Nishaan-e-Pakistan).
    Moraji Desai. He belonged to the Janata party and first non-Congress party prime minister.

He started off as a pilot in the Indian Airlines, before entering politics. Clue: A memorial is built at the place of his assassination in Sriperumbudur.
    Rajiv Gandhi. He was the son of Indira Gandhi and was made Prime minister by the Indian National Congress after his mother's death. He was assassinated while campaigning in Sriperumbudur by LTTE(Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) suicide bomber Dhanu.

He was the first prime minister from the Samajwadi Janta Party.
    Chandra Sekhar. Samajwadi Janata Party is a break away half of the Janata Dal started by Chandra Shekhar and Devi Lal and was led to victory in elections under Chandra Sekhar in 1990.

Who was the Prime Minister associated with Operation Blue Star?
    Indira Gandhi. Operation Blue star was an Indian military operation ordered by Indira Gandhi against the Sikh separatists who were gathering weapons in the Golden Temple at Amritsar, Punjab. This event later led to Indira Gandhi's assassination by 2 of her own Sikh bodyguards.

This was the PM associated with the famous Bofors Scandal.
    Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi and several others were accused of receiving illegal payments from a company named Bofors AB for winning a bid to supply the Indian field howitzer(short barrel artillery piece)in the 1980s.

Name the first prime minister from South India.
    P V Narasimha Rao. He was born in Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh and was also known as Father of Indian Economic Reforms.

This PM is commonly referred to as the "Chanakya" of modern India.
    P V Narasimha Rao. He was known so for his ability to command all types of economic and political legislation in the parliament even when he headed a minority government.
