    He was forced to recant his views. Gaileo was charged with heresy and was forced to recant his support of Copernicus and his theories under threat of torture.

Freud stunned Victorian thought with his views on psychology. Which of these was NOT a part of Freudian thought?
    All of these were elements of Freud's theories (Importance of unconscious motivations, Importance of instinctual forces and infantile sexuality, Importance of "repression" as a defense mechanism). All of the ideas listed are key components of Freudian thought.

    Keats. Keats wrote these lines in "Ode to a Grecian Urn".

    Polonious. The line comes from "Hamlet", of course. It is spoken by Polonious to Laertes.

    Emily Dickinson. It's the opening line of a poem by Emily Dickinson. Interesting thought.

    Jack Nicholson. Jack Nicholson bellowed this line at Tom Cruise in the excellent Rob Reiner movie, "A Few Good Men".
